ABC Using Stars To Promote Soaps!


As if the drama, scandal and love triangles weren’t enough to keep us glued to our favorite soaps, ABC has found yet another way to keep us watching – and to lure the non-soap fan into becoming one! ABC is setting out on its latest campaign to get the Generation Y viewers (those born between 1980 and 1994) to incorporate soaps into their daily schedule by using famous celebrities, who we wouldn’t normally connect with soaps, to attract viewers by giving their own little teasers and thoughts about such things as soap fashion, romance and character strengths.

Whether it be Llanview, Pine Valley or Port Charles, next time you see one of your favorite actors suggesting that you tune into its designated ABC soap give it a shot! You’re bound to fall in love with a character or two along the way!
