Brandon Beemer and Kim Ulrich Answer Our Questions
Most embarrassing thing on set?
“I hated love scenes. They always wrote, the women especially, we’d walk into somebody’s room naked. And you’re like, ‘No, I’m sorry. A women over twenty isn’t going to do that, but okay!’ I’m a mother of four on the show. There’s no way she’s going to run around naked, but they were always writing us that way – dropping our coats and being naked. We weren’t really, but still, being in front of the crew in your underwear, it’s just not pleasant.”
Are there any similarities between you and Ivy?
Like his character – didn’t answer because he didn’t want to give anything away story wise.
Who are the most memorable characters you’ve worked with?
“I always loved working with Peter Reckell on Days. I loved working with him and Kristian Alfonso. And then over here (at B&B)…you know, I’ll just stick to Days because I don’t want to piss anyone off on this side.”
Anything embarrassing on set?
“Not yet. Luckily Owen hasn’t been embarrassed or too embarrassed in any way yet.”
What do you like to do when you’re not working?
“I like sleeping. That’s definitely one of the nice things. I like movies; I like going to the gym; I like traveling; I like getting outdoors and going hiking, playing Texas Hold ‘Em, spending time with my friends, trying to see the family, playing tennis. I think that pretty much sums it up.”
