Career Highlights in Soaps: Prior to coming to General Hospital in 2007, Bruce’s first soap opera experience was on Ryan’s Hope in 1976. He is best known for his work as undercover cop Sgt. Michael “Mick” Belker in the 1980s hit “Hill Street Blues.”
Claim to Fame: For his work on “Hill Street Blues” Bruce has earned two Golden Globe and five Emmy nominations. He won the Outstanding Supporting Actor Emmy in 1984.
Trivia: In 1976 Bruce was an understudy for Broadway’s “Death of a Salesman” in the role of both sons.
