With Nicole and Chloe making a pact to make life worse for their shared enemy, Sami could probably use a friend. Lucky for her, her occasional gym buddy Chris will be in town. Ross Matthews, who plays the part, has said on his official blog that he’ll be returning to the series as Kate’s assistant on Tuesday, September 9.
Jensen Higley, the daughter of Head Writer Dena Higley, has been playing Melanie’s friend Susan.
Thanks to an upcoming storyline curve, the wonderful Roscoe Born (Dean Trent Robbins) will be exiting the series by summer’s end.
Eve Plumb will be showing up in Salem as Dora, an unstable patient for Marlena on August 29. She is more famous as Jan Brady on “The Brady Bunch”.
Terrell Tilford will be returning as Dr. Carrington on Friday, September 5.
Matthew Borlenghi is coming to Salem to play Anthony Marino. He will make his first appearance on September 18.
Bryan Friday has been playing the part of the masked man stalking Marlena since August 5.
Brandon DeShazer will play Salem PD detective Harry.
David Schivone has been cast to play the young Stefano. You can look forward to seeing him on Wednesday, August 20.
In spite of persistent rumors that have been buzzing around message boards, Eric Martsolf, most famous as Ethan Winthrop on Passions, will not be coming to Salem. Although rumors stated that he would be joining up as Brady Black, Mr. Martsolf himself has confirmed for us, via his publicist, that there is no truth to the rumor.
Jeff Chase appeared as Ava’s quick drawing cousin, Eddie, on Friday, July 25.
Linden Ashby will be returning as the presumed dead Paul Hollingsworth on Wednesday, July 30.
Vet actor Bill Hayes will be returning to Salem on August 1st, once again reprising his role as Hope’s father Doug.
Brea Cola appears as Daphne, a reporter who has a past with Max, on July 29.
Yuval David plays Georges, a scorned lover of Melanie, on July 29.
McKinley Freeman has his first official date as Evan, the new manager of the Java Cafe, on August 1.
Alex Schemmer will be playing Les, a somewhat sinister acquaintance of Max’s sister Melanie on August 31.
Leith Burke will be playing reporter Brad Baker on Friday, August 8th.

I know that it seems that Nicole is a real stinker but if everyone has been watching from the git go she has had a bad life since childhood she deserves a break.Being sneaky is wrong but thats what she has had to do her whole life to survive.The one that needs to go is sneaky underhanded nosy trouble making KATE….She has her nose in everything thats why she is still single she recks all her relatioships and everyone else’s.Her and Stefano are ment to be together you know birds of a feather stick togther.They are truly a match made in hell.I have watched this soap for 43 years its been on………Iknow it all….

I have watched ths show for 40 yrs,and I am pretty tired of Sami always being the bad one here. she needs to be happy and get her baby back from Nicole. Her and EJ I think would be very happy together.
Also I tired of watching the show since Kate has always been the evil one here. Lets find her quilty for a change and lock her up for good.
