Well, Anna had a big week. She learned how shallow her boy toy rocker Eli Love is when he told her that he couldn’t be seen in public with a “grandma”. Long story short (this is a summary after all) she pulled some martial arts moves and kicked him in the jaw. Then Patrick punched him and I think Dr. Noah got in on the act at some point too. Eli and his posse skidaddled out of Port Chuck just in time for Anna to look at Noah and realize that she was attracted to him all along, not Eli. Oh, and in the process Robin came to appreciate Patrick’s blossoming paternal instincts!

Johnny and Lulu remain holed up in Manhattan, although Lourdes is on to their real identities after seeing Scott on TV spilling the beans. She told Johnny and Lulu that she knows but will keep their secret. Lulu is annoyed by her school-girl crush on Johnny and doesn’t trust that Lourdes won’t squeal once her heart gets broken.

Back in Port Charles, Lucky is about to crack under the pressure of worrying about little Lulu and not being able to see much of Sam. Sam is determined to get to the bottom of the counterfeit drugs at GH, so much so that she has agreed to captain Karpov’s first shipment! Nadine, too, is on the case and she thinks that Dr. Matt Hunter has something to do with it. Nikolas is none too pleased at her willingness to risk her life by snooping around, but she wants to prove that she’s not a little girl and can protect herself. (You see, Nik told her that he feels like her big brother this week. Ouch.)

Karpov has Sonny right where he wants him - as a barrier between himself and Jason. He actually thinks that Jason won’t strike him out of some kind of loyalty to Sonny. It’s quite the opposite however. Spinelli, Diane and Claudia have all warned Jason that Sonny is dealing with the Russian mobster and Jason is finally ready to call him on it. I believe his cliff-hanging words were to Sonny were, “We need to talk.” Scary.

And then there’s Jax and Carly’s train wreck of a marriage. He asked for some space and what did she do? Handcuffed herself to him. Right after she stowed away on his private jet and accompanied him to Montreal. The poor doofus had to parachute out of his own jet to avoid her seduction. Well, he didn’t actually avoid it, he partook in it as a matter of fact. Then, before afterglow could set in, he bailed. Literally.

Kate returned from Paris all hot and bothered to be with her man, but first she went to the office of course! While she was gone, Mike dropped by Sonny’s to say that he received a tux from Paris as a gift from Kate. Sonny completed the moment by asking his father to stand up for him at his wedding. Awwww. A long over-due moment if you ask me.

Monica is out of rehab. The Quartermaines welcomed her home by arguing with Scott Baldwin over Lulu’s whereabouts and replacing all booze bottles with water. Nice touch, eh? Later in the week she saw baby Jake with Liz and commented about the green-eyed monster she becomes when she thinks of how lucky Audrey is to have 2 grandsons.

Next week out to be a doozy.
