The Bold and the Beautiful Weekly Update for August 18-22

August 22nd, 2008 by Lori Wilson

Unhappy that Owen was back in town and believing that he is out to con his mother, Marcus came up with the theory that Owen poisoned the bottle of gin he gave Eric, therefore causing his heart attack. He ran all over town trying to get someone to believe him, first Brooke, then Donna and finally Bridget, who he asked to run some tests on Eric to prove he was poisoned.

Meanwhile, Owen continued to ingratiate himself into Donna’s life and Ridge realized he was wrong for the way he treated Owen and Donna. Ridge told his family that he wants to make amends with Donna and Owen and have everyone work together at FC, because as he stated, if it weren’t for Owen their dad would be dead. Stephanie also showed up with a specialist from Europe to help Eric, but didn’t exactly get the miracle news she was hoping for.

Ross Matthews, who plays the part, has said on his official blog that he’ll be returning to the series as Kate’s assistant on Tuesday, September 9.

Jensen Higley, the daughter of Head Writer Dena Higley, has been playing Melanie’s friend Susan.

Thanks to an upcoming storyline curve, the wonderful Roscoe Born (Dean Trent Robbins) will be exiting the series by summer’s end.
