Career Highlights in Soaps: Steve’s soap career began in 1988 on Days of Our Lives. He came to General Hospital (as Jason Quartermaine) in 1990 and stayed until 2000. He left the show, but returned for a short stint in 2001. He returned in 2002 and has remained until now. His other acting credits include The Last Castle, a feature film with Robert Redford as well as providing the voiceover for the protagonist of Final Fantasy VII, Cloud Strife.
Claim to Fame: Jason won a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in 1998. He was nominated for Outstanding Younger Actor in 1997, Supporting Actor in 2000 and Lead Actor in 2005.
Trivia: Steve was in PlayGirl magazine in April 1995 (with clothes on).
