GH’s Constance Towers to Play Dancer on Stage.

Move over Susan Lucci! It may not be “Dancing with the Stars”, but General Hospital’s Constance Towers (the evil Helena Cassadine) is about to appear in Burbank’s Falcon Theatre as a dancer in the comedy “Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks”. Her character, a retired Floridian named Lilly, invites an ex Broadway chorus boy into her condo for private dance lessons and all heck breaks out as a result. Her co-star is Jason Graae, whose resume includes musicals such as “Forbidden Hollywood” and “Forever Plaid”. “Six Dance Lessons” was written by Richard Alfieri and is to be directed by Arthur Allan Seidelman, with choreography by Kay Cole.

Opening night is Friday, October 31 at 8:00 PM, and the show runs, Wednesdays through Saturdays, until November 23, 3008. There are also Sunday matinees at 4:00 PM. Ticket sales begin on September 24. Call the Falcon Theatre Box Office at (818) 955-8101 for tickets, or to volunteer to usher (and see the show for free!). The theater is located at 4252 Riverside Drive in Burbank, California. If you go, be sure to come back to Soap Opera Fan Blog and let us know what you thought.
