Soap Stars Compete in Nautica Malibu Triathlon
A couple of soap stars participated in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon over the weekend and we’re happy to report that they did the world of Daytime proud!
Winsor Harmon (Thorne, B&B), who competed in the coed celebrity relay team, came in 6th place, while Wally Kurth’s (ex-Ned, GH; ex-Justin, Days) relay team came in 3rd. Harmon’s co-star, Heather Tom (Katie, B&B) placed 2nd in the celebrity female division and the man who took over the role Winsor originated on “All My Children”, Alec Musser (ex-Del), finished 2nd in the men’s celebrity division.
While we here at Soap Opera Fan Blog are proud of our Daytime stars, the event was ultimately for a good cause, as the Nautica Malibu Triathlon raised $950,000 for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and its Pediatric Cancer Research Program. Congrats and well done to all who participated!
