When he’s not playing the moody Max Brady, Days of Our Lives‘ Darin Brooks lends his time to a unique umbrella charity.

He’s a member of Tag the World, an organization that supports five different causes through the promotion and sale of dog-tag style necklaces. Proceeds go to charities for animals, cancer, children, global green efforts and Africa. The organization was founded by Robert Parks Valletta and its sterling-silver tags are designed by Michael Barin. Brooks is a member of Tag the World’s honorary board of advisors.

The official website for the organization will launch after this Thursday October 16, and will list several charities associated with each cause so that those who are purchasing the jewelry will be able to choose which charity they wish to support. Tag the World necklaces are currently available at Michael Barin Inc. in Studio City, California and will be available on the Tag the World website after it launches.
