The Chancellor’s hold a dinner party, River’s escape is short-lived and the investigation into Victor’s Mexican getaway is in full swing!

Jack and Sharon were invited to dinner at the Chancellor mansion where Jack was shocked to hear that Cane had changed one of his father’s lines at Jabot! While everyone chatted in their respective corners, Katherine stunned Jill by announcing that dessert wouldn’t be served until Phillip arrived – and Jill was furious that Esther kept Katherine’s memory lapses to herself! Though Katherine assured Jill that she was fine, later, during a bar scene, we witnessed Katherine downing a shot!

While Cane and Chloe seemed to bond, over a kick from their little bundle of joy, Lily made plans to escape Genoa City for a bit – and Cane agreed that her trip would be the best thing for her, to which Lily immediately bought a plane ticket to visit her Aunt Olivia in New York!

After Phyllis and Daniel overheard news that Billy was living at the penthouse with Amber, Phyllis evicted her! When Billy chose to blow Amber off for a little online dating, in which he purposely sought out Lily aka ‘Fallout Girl’, Amber turned to “Loveline” with her troubles – and her rants about Phyllis, the witch! To break up the public display, Daniel went on air and admitted he still loved Amber – not realizing that Colleen overheard while at the coffeehouse! Pushed to face their true feelings, Amber invited Daniel to the penthouse to talk – and he showed up, professed his love, took her in a kiss and the two decided to resume their relationship with a fresh start! Though Billy didn’t appear to be all that upset, Colleen didn’t take her breakup with Daniel so well. Phyllis wasn’t privy to the reconciliation news, but she had her hands full appeasing Nick – by being forced to work on an article for Beauty of Nature with Sharon!

Just as Jeffrey announced he was leaving Gloria, out of jealously over her and River, River called Gloria for help – and she agreed to meet him then took Eden home with her while River went on the run! However, Michael later found him and convinced his father to give himself up – and allow Michael to clear his name! Gloria couldn’t stop Jeffrey from leaving and had no idea that he was taking a container of the contaminated Jabot cream with him!

While the authorities from Mexico arrived in Genoa City to met with Heather, Nikki, Vikki and Nick caught Adam breaking into the ranch on the hunt for more of Victor’s handwriting samples for the forgery scam. Once Heather and the police showed up, the Newmans didn’t press charges on Adam, for fear of making Heather more suspicious about what more was in the house to find! Later, Adam met with the forger and instructed him what to add to Victor’s diary! While reminiscing into the past, Nikki couldn’t let go of Victor, packed a bag and headed out to deter the police from Victor’s trail – with the help of JT, who traveled to Reno, disguised himself as Victor and set up a hotel room to look as though Victor were occupying it, leaving Jack and Adam in a seedy motel room in Genoa City doing a fake voiceover of Victor admitting to murdering Walter Palin! Little did Jack know, Sharon found the receipt for the room on their credit card statement! However, just as Paul followed Nikki to the exact same hotel room in Reno, to warn her of the ramifications of her ploy, the Mexican authorities showed up. Although Paul was against Nikki’s plan, he claimed to have seen Victor – just to get them off of Nikki’s back! Meanwhile, Victor took respite in the French chateau that he bought Sabrina, falling deeper into his own depression – and into the burning flames of the chateau!

Tyra arrived back in Genoa City, minus Ana who had disappeared, but then Ana appeared with a cop – and Tyra informed her, and Neil, that they would be moving to Seattle! After Neil insisted that they stay with him, for Devon and his sake, Tyra agreed to think about it, leaving Karen wondering if Neil’s feelings for Tyra went deeper than friendship!
