What Young and Restless Fans have to say about David Lago!

He’s coming to General Hospital as Sonny (Maurice Benard)and Olivia’s (Lisa LoCicero) son, Dante, and Y&R fans are a bit green with envy!

Soap Opera Fan Blog did a little informal survey and learned that Y&R fans might tune into GH so they can start seeing David Lago again. Granted, he won’t be playing Raul Guitierrez, the role that earned him a Daytime Emmy for Younger Actor in 2005, but they feel they can come to love a dark young man named Dante equally as well! Words like ‘hot’ and ‘crush’ came up often during our survey. Also bantered about were appreciative references to his brown eyes, great acting abilities and sweetness. But the jury is still out as to whether Dante will be sweet. He could be pretty jaded about growing up without a dad in a rough neighborhood! In any case, we’ll have to wait until the end of November to find out because that’s when ABC says Dante will be coming to Port Charles.

Lago did quite a bit of growing up while pretending to live in Genoa City, as he was on Y&R for five years. Prior to that, he was on WB’s “Seventh Heaven” as a character named Jeremy. These days, David plays in a band, owns his own production company, and has appeared in eight Indy films! Let’s hope his re-entry into the soap world is rewarding for him, and for us!

Check back often to see what other news we’ve scared up for you! You can always count on weekly summaries , spoilers, actors bios, appearances, video clips, comings & goings, and polls here at Soap Opera Fan Blog, but on especially juicy weeks, there are breaking news stories, too!
