Not exactly! Sam and Elizabeth made a pretty good team against the Russians lurking outside of their hideaway cabin. The boys played quietly in a back bedroom until guns started firing and then all they wanted was their mommy. Sam asserted that Liz needed to stay with her and provide backup. She gave Liz a hand gun complete with a quickie lesson on how to use it. At one point, Sam was fighting off a Russian and much to her surprise, Liz gunned the goon down. In the end, however, the Russians were able to nab Jake and make a run for it.
Jason was tied up at the PCPD and wasn’t able to rush to the cabin to help until it was too late. Alexis, trying to hide the fact that she was reeling from Jerry’s death, vowed to finally do her job and hold Jason until she had enough evidence against him to put him away for good. Diane did her best to get Jason released, but in the end it was Spinelli’s cyber skills to the rescue. Somehow he was able to hack into Interpol’s site and finagle it so the agency actually thought another of Karpov’s enemies was the killer. As soon as the PCPD got wind of it, they had no choice but to release Jason. He took off to the cabin, but got there too late to prevent the Russians from taking Jake. Read the rest of this entry »
Look out Kate! Carly is spitting mad at you for hooking up with her husband and she vows to make you pay. By week’s end, she does! Kate is so busy focusing on trying to hurt Sonny that she doesn’t get too ruffled by what Carly’s up to though.
As for Sonny, he’s too busy enjoying his newfound status to care much about anything else. (And I’m not referring to the fact that he’s a newlywed if you know what I mean.) He makes some executive decisions regarding his enemies that impress his blushing bride and reminds his new father-in-law who’s the boss every chance he gets. Claudia may be impressed with Sonny’s mobster prowess, but not enough to keep her mitts off of Ric. Wanting no part if any funny business, Ric keeps her at arm’s length. Impressive, eh? Michael will show up at Crimson Lights and rant at Gloria to try to get her to come clean about Lowell. You’ll lose count at the number of names angry Michael will call Gloria. Jailbird Victor goes to Frank (the forger) for help, Jana will find the bag ‘o’ money and Kevin has to explain…
Pearl notices Katherine’s (Marge) gorgeous dinner ring and doesn’t think it’s costume jewelry!
Rafe, who looks more like a 23 year old than a lawyer, agrees to help the Winters’ family. Sorry, usually I can suspend belief, but not this time. Let me know if you believe this.
Gloria and Jeffrey will go behind each other’s backs to try to get Jack to work with them against the other. Kevin admits he’s involved in another of Gloria’s schemes.
The Thanksgiving holiday just passed and we here at Soap Opera Fan Blog are still recuperating from all the turkey, stuffing and pumpkin pie we gorged on. However, the characters on The Bold and the Beautiful can’t exactly say the same. There were no big family dinners or even a mention of the holiday.
Call us crazy, but we think they celebrate Thanksgiving even in California. What were your thoughts on B&B ignoring the holiday? Read the rest of this entry »
Although a good chunk of what the characters on Days say usually turns out to be a lie or a half-truth, when they’re actually honest, it’s brutal.
As the veneer on all of the characters continues to become more shallow, the insults seem to become more cutting and curt. Amidst the often repetitive and predictable conversations that fill the show on a daily basis, a few ripe jabs often serve as the highlight. Please vote in our poll below, and add your comments below, to tell Soap Opera Fan Blog who you think is the best at the verbal attack. Read the rest of this entry »

After watching Donna push Owen away on the live feed from Owen’s office, Eric was confident he could trust Donna to remain faithful to him. Despite Thorne’s protests to the contrary, Eric told his son he had made his decision and summoned Donna to his office. However, he didn’t actually tell Donna he decided she was now worthy of his love, but he did give her hope.
Donna returned to the mansion to soak in a bubble bath and wait for Eric. However, Stephanie interrupted Donna’s soak and they had words. Eric came home to the women bickering and they demanded he make his decision because they couldn’t live like this anymore. Eric agreed and said he had made up his mind. But again, he didn’t actually articulate who he had chosen, but Stephanie did catch him and Donna in a steamy lip lock. Stephanie assumed it was over for her and prepared to move out of the house, but Thorne told her not to give up hope just yet. Read the rest of this entry »

Did you wonder why Edward has been looking especially dapper lately? Yes, he’s a dapper kind of fellow every day of the week, but lately he’s been sporting a cap everywhere he goes. Fashion statement? Not exactly. His portrayer, John Ingle, has told reporters that he had a small section of sun-damaged skin on his head taken care of and needs to keep his scalp under cover for a few weeks.
