Soap Opera Fan Blog Talks with General Hospital’s Rebecca Herbst!
Brace yourselves Liason fans. Here are a couple thoughts from the ‘Li’ in ‘Liason’, Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth Webber).
I had a few moments of Rebecca Herbst’s time recently, and we mostly talked about her role as spokesperson for Purpose Cosmetics. (She’s been using the same skincare line since she was fifteen, can you believe that? And look at that skin!) I managed to squeeze a couple General Hospital questions in for you. Enjoy!
Soap Opera Fan Blog: Can you give us any information about how much longer we’ll have to wait for Liason to actually make something work for them?
Rebecca Herbst: I would like to know what’s going on with Liason as well! At least they are back to acknowledging their love for each other instead of pretending it doesn’t exist! One thing for sure is Elizabeth will not give up on them. She’s determined to make this work…for now!
Soap Opera Fan Blog: Those scenes with Liz waiting for Jason at the airport for their Italian getaway were heartbreaking. And she doesn’t even have Emily to talk to anymore! I think Liz needs a new BFF, don’t you? Nadine and Robin are fine, but they seem to ‘take’ more than they ‘give’ lately. Thoughts on Liz’s current lot in life?
Rebecca Herbst: Elizabeth should get a new best friend, however, she doesn’t strike me as the type of person who really needs one. She is a strong woman who loves her friends, but only depends on herself. She has been in survival mode for a long time. Everyone deserves a little happiness…it’s about time Elizabeth gets hers!

I say NO to LIASON and YES to SAMSON! Elizabeth needs to go back to Lucky, they are better suited for each other. Jason and Sam are so much more exciting together. They both have the fire and danger in them, not to mention those hott love scenes they use to have. Come on GH give us our SAMSON back!

Jason and Elizabeth have been dancing around this for TOO LONG. The writers are making a mistake if they KEEP ON dragging this out. LIASON needs to finally happen ONCE AND FOR ALL.
Personally, I think it would be fascinating if Liz somehow lost her memory (even MORE of a connection to Jason), becomes edgier, tougher but still has a fierce love for her kids once she gets to know them all over again AND she falls for Jason all over again too. Let’s make her ABLE to take on the life that Jason leads! MAKE LIASON HAPPEN, GENERAL HOSPITAL!!!! Quit jerking us around!

I have two ideals
1. Let jason, be in an almost death
accident when he wakes up he want remember working for sonny or being in the mob. he will only remember he was going to be a doctor, then him & liz can be together already!
2. let him and sam hook back up they do share the same work ethics oif that happens let mat hunter be liz’s new love..since they share the same kind of work.

Jason’s true soul mate in every way was Sam (even Carly admitted they were good for each other). GH needs to put them back together. Liz was better with Lucky and I hope someday, GH see’s their mistake in ruining Jason and Sam and pops out a mistake with the blood test on Jake. Jason and Sam deserved to have a child together - not Elizabeth. A good amount of their time together was spent around the idea of having a child together and being a family. Jason was totally in love with Sam until he found out Jake was his son and then started gravitating to Elizabeth and lying to Sam. I don’t agree with what Sam did in not telling about Jake’s kidnapping but I do understand her empathy for the other woman and her grief over Jason’s keeping secrets from her when that was never their relationship - that would make anyone angry and resentful as well as insecure. Look at what Carly’s done because of insecurity in her relationships. Liason will never work unless GH changes the core of who Jason and Elizabeth are. Jason is boring on the right side of the law and Elizabeth is not totally accepting of who he really is and what he does like Sam and Carly. She’s the Robin relationship all over.

i hate liz & jason together…BOOORRRING and I hate Sam & Lucky together. Sam & Jason are meant to be as well as Lucky & Liz. Let get back to the old way, so much more excitement.

The only reason I watch GH is for Lis/Jason and Robin/Patrick…I will lose interest if they don’t get Liz and Jason together soon! And get Robin out of hte hospital so that she can finally have what she has been dreaming about!!

I just can’t wait for Elizabeth to finally get what she wants. I’ve been watching her on GH since she started. I LOVE HER! I would love to see Jason and her together. I mean he married Courtney, why can’t he just be with Liz? I know that his business is bad for relationships, but they can find a way. He has enough bodyguards. Especially they have a child together, he should be raising Jake, not Lucky. PLEASE, let them be! How much longer will you make us wait? I bet that they’ll get together just to be ripped apart later, isn’t that how all relationshps go? I mean look at Luke and Laura? Emily and Nikolas? Geez… what will happen next?

Love Jason and Elizabeth. Look forward to the day when the writers see the wisdom in them actually becoming a family and facing danger together. Jake and Cam need a two parent household, and Jason and Liz fit the ticket.

I think he is just as boring as Sam. I love Carly and Jax!! I don’t want them to divorce!! I want LIASON to be married!!

I so want Jason and Sam to get back together. I like Elizabeth but I think she is better suited for Lucky. It seems to me that the only time she wants Jason is when someone else has him or when she is alone. Jason and Sam are sooo much better for each other because they understand each other’s needs and if it wasn’t for Jason lying to Sam about baby Jake they would still be together. Sam deserves to be happy and so does Jason they provide that happiness for each other. Stay safe Liz stick with Lucky.

Please, please, please put Sam & Jason back together, pronto! I never did liked Liz & Jason, they lack chemistry big time! Sam has always accepted Jason’s lifestyle and will love him no matter what. I can still remember when Jason helped Sam through her ordeal with losing her baby, now they need a child together. Every time Sam & Jason are together, they melt my tv screen just the way they look at each other! All they have to do is stair at each other and I’m tingling in my knees, their chemistry is unbelievable! I will never accept Liz & Jason, never!

I have been watching GH since the first time Jason and Elizabeth were together. I have been waiting and waiting for them to be together and happy. I’m hoping one of these days me and the other fans will get there day to see that actually happen.

When it comes to happiness, it’s waaaaay past time for Elizabeth to get hers! we need to see Elizabeth & Jason married and living together with their 2 boys trying to make it work despite his being in the mob and how abnormal that will make her and the boys’ lives. That’s the story I want to see play out onscreen with love, sex, fears, threats and all that goes with a full-blown romantic storyline playing full out onscreen! Viva LIASON!

I agree with the Jason/Liz pairing.The writers need to find someone else for Sam .I have been watching the show from the beginning.Liz/Jason or Jason/Liz have to get married this time.
No killing them off.They both need to survive together and live happily with their boys.
I watch the show for Jason/Liz and will stop watching if they tear them apart.The writers should find something else to do besides tear Jason/Liz apart.The crisis is going to be intersting and hopefully the writers will not separate these two.

True chemistry is expressed between Jason and Elizabeth on every level. Let us give this couple an break at true romance and a family. Sam turn came and went. As an actress she stinks. In addition to that, there is absolutely no chemistry between here and Jason. LIASON FOREVER!

I’ve waited long enough to see Jiz end. OMG!! Jason and Sam are coming back. I CAN’T wait, they loved (and still love) each other and have one helluva chemistry. You can’t deny this couple, it brought the best in Jason when he was Sam.
