The Bold and the Beautiful Weekly Summary For November 10 - 14.

Who knew a podcast could cause so much damage?

After Brooke found Rick standing, Rick pretended it just happened for the first time. He credited ‘the miracle’ to Eric believing in him. Eric and Ridge came in the room (after arguing about Rick being president and Ridge pulling the plug on Eric) and saw Rick take a few steps. While Eric, Rick and Brooke celebrated, Ridge remained skeptical. After Brooke and Eric left the room, Rick told Ridge that he was in charge of Forrester Creations now and if Ridge crossed him, he would destroy him.

After Ridge declined sharing the presidency of Forrester Creations with Rick, Eric decided he would announce Rick’s new position via podcast. As everyone geared up for the podcast and news of Rick’s appointment spread, everyone expressed their opinion on the matter. Ridge decided he would not attend the taping of the podcast and Brooke assured him she would make a statement that would make her loyalties to him clear.

It was repeated several times that the podcast would not be live, so they could make edits to it later if need be. During the taping, Eric announced Rick as the new president and Rick made an acceptance speech. Brooke also spoke, highlighting Rick’s many assets, but also talked about Ridge being the driving force behind the company, calling him a visionary and an inspiration and said, “He is Forrester Creations.”

After the taping was over, Jake, who was in charge of it, got called away, so Rick stepped in to finish it and post it on the website. In an attempt to cause friction between Ridge and Brooke, he edited out all mention of Ridge, making it sound like Brooke was talking about Rick when she was actually talking about Ridge. Hence, the reason for the repeated declarations of it not being a live podcast.

Taylor came over to watch the podcast with Ridge and to give him support. He assured Taylor that Brooke was going to make a strong statement about him. However, after watching the edited version of the podcast, Ridge grew furious that Brooke didn’t even mention his name.

When Brooke returned home, Ridge blew up at her and stormed out of the house saying maybe their destiny was to be apart. Brooke was confused as she believed she made it clear that she supported Ridge and that he was an asset to the company. Ridge took off on his motorcycle and headed to the site of their first marriage where he recalled their wedding. Brooke went for a ride on her horse and ended up at the same beach. Ridge stood on a cliff, while Brooke was on the beach and when Ridge finally saw Brooke, he yelled out her name and Brooke turned to see him.

While Brooke and Ridge met up in Malibu, Stephanie leaned Rick had been exaggerating his injuries and that he edited the podcast. She was outraged, but Rick told her if she kept quiet about his misdeeds, she would get what she’s always wanted – Brooke out of her son’s life.
