Ashley Jones of The Bold and the Beautiful to Appear on True Blood.

Ashley Jones (Bridget, B&B) will soon be seen mixing it up with the undead as she has landed a new gig on the series “True Blood”.

The HBO series, which has been nominated for two Golden Globe awards, is based on the series of books, “Sookie Stackhouse” by Charlaine Harris. Starring Anna Paquin (“X-Men”, “The Piano”) and created by Alan Ball (“Six Feet Under”), “True Blood” is based in a fictional Louisiana town where vampires and humans co-exist.

According to her publicist, Ashley will play Daphne, “a sexy down to earth, country girl who is not the greatest waitress. Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) couldn’t care less, as he gets to know her better.” We were also reassured that, “She will also continue her role as ‘Bridget Forrester,’ on CBS’s The Bold and the Beautiful.”

Soap Opera Fan Blog can’t wait to see Ashley in this new role and wish her continued success outside of Daytime.
