Getting into the holiday spirit, Days of Our Lives‘ Shelley Hennig (Stephanie Johnson), Molly Burnett (Melanie Layton) and Rachel Melvin (Chelsea Brady) participated in the Live Positively Holiday Parade on December 13.

The parade wound its way for a mile and a half, from Washington Blvd. to Figueroa, ending at LA Live where a tree lighting ceremony and other holiday festivities happened. The exciting event featured interactive floats, local marching bands and multicultural performances in a bid to instill a sense of joy, love, peace and happiness to everyone present.

The parade was presented by Coca-Cola and designed to promote the holiday spirit, in particular, to encourage those living in Los Angeles to live more positively. This was the first time that this event has been held in the US. The Live Positively Holiday Parade is already part of Caravana Navidena Coca-Cola, a 27-city holiday caravan that has been happening in Mexico for the past seven years.
