You’ll spend all day with your family, give Christmas night to your other one!

How could any red-blooded GH fan resist the thought of not one, not two, but three different Christmas Eve episodes from days gone by? That’s exactly what SOAPnet has in store for us starting at 8:00 PM (EST) on Thursday, December 25. They’re calling it “The Most of Christmas Past” and I, for one, cannot wait to take a trip back in Port Charles time!

The first Christmas Eve episode is from 1996. At that time, Sonny worked at a Christmas tree lot while Jax romanced his current lady love Brenda! We’ll get to see Jason with Lila and young Robin, too! The next in the series is Christmas Eve 1998. Lucky and Liz were young and in love. They exchange gifts with Nikolas and Emily. Who wants to bet that Liz made brownies? Last but not least, the final Christmas Eve episode features Alan reading the Christmas story at General Hospital. Ric and Alexis narrowly escape danger in time to attend Kristina’s Christening, and Sonny and Carly happily enjoy the evening together. Emily’s not so punchy this year because Nikolas is spending the holidays in jail!

The three-hour marathon will also feature current footage of Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) and Kirsten Storms (Maxie) as they quip about holiday traditions together.

So, put fresh batteries in the new toys and slip away for some quality time with yourself! You deserve it. Besides, I don’t want to be the only person dodging family time to indulge in my not-so-secret passion!
