80’s General Hospital Actor Don Galloway Died.
He played Dr. Buzz Stryker from 1985 - 1987.
Actor Don Galloway hadn’t been on GH since 1987, but fans who recall the character of Jimmy Lee Holt will likely recall his BMF, Dr. Buzz Stryker. The character also had a brief romantic pairing with the lovely Anna Devane.
Galloway passed away on January 8 at the age of 71 in Reno, Nevada.
Galloway’s soap work started years before in New York. He was on “Secret Storm” in the 1950’s. He is probably best known for his starring role in TV’s “Ironside” with Raymond Burr from 1967 - 1975. After his GH stint, he went on to work in “Perry Mason” TV movies and reprised his role as Sgt. Ed Brown for an “Ironside” reunion movie in 1993.
Don leaves behind his wife Linda and their four children.
