Jana and Kevin break the law, Nick plans a business trip with Sharon, and Billy feels his baby kick!
Wanting to get Katherine’s money back, Jana and Kevin broke into the tack house, found the money but were forced to hide when Nick, Phyllis, Michael and Lauren arrived. Though Michael found the couple in the closet, he managed to get them out unseen! Later, Kevin told Michael the truth about the money – and Michael warned Kevin not to make any more bad decisions!
With Gloria at her arraignment, Kevin went to the jail to visit Kay’s look-alike and was shocked that she vaguely remembered that he owed her money! After talking to Murphy, Kevin told Amber about the woman in jail – then gave Murphy Katherine’s money to help her! Back in the courtroom, Michael made a deal with Heather, in order to get Gloria out on bail, but Gloria wanted more time to grill Katherine – and asked the judge if she could take a trip out of the country, to which he denied bail! Back in her cell, when Murphy arrived to bail out Kay, Gloria begged to tell the judge she was just joking about leaving the country! After Jeff informed Gloria that he knew why she wanted to stay in jail – to be close to the Katherine imposter – they agree to work together for fear of losing their stock if she really ended up being Kay!
Nick’s behavior was a little odd this week on The Bold and the Beautiful. First, Katie wanted to plan the wedding, but he looked like he was ready to jump out of his skin. Then, he very abruptly told her to use her own laptop instead of his. With Nick’s track record of jumping from lady to lady, we have to wonder just what is really going on with him.

As Jax and Carly commit to giving their marriage a fighting chance (literally, no doubt), Sonny and Claudia’s union continues to be tested. She continues to encourage her husband to eliminated Jason’s threat. For his part, Sonny gives Jason every chance to admit betrayal. By week’s end, both men have laid their cards on the table. The only thing Jason doesn’t know is just how much trouble is brewing with the Feds. Agent Raynor pays him another visit and offers him a lifeline, however.
Meanwhile, whenever Sonny is otherwise occupied, Claudia continues her search and destroy mission for Jerry’s trail of DVDs. Also, even though she aced Ric’s test for her when Johnny was in trouble, he isn’t sure that she’s good ally material just yet. (Gee, what was his first clue, her last name?) 2008 ended with the soap seeing an upswing in viewers.
Last year ended with a great deal of turmoil behind the scenes, or, at least, in the soap press. But in spite of tabloid headlines and some very angry fans, Days of Our Lives, still managed to finish the year in a comfortable position.
