Is there any better way to welcome 2009 than by watching Ronn Moss (Ridge) and Kyle Lowder (Rick) mock themselves on E!’s “The Soup”? Alright, there might be, but watching the B&B actors send up Ridge’s constant use of Rick’s name with host Joel McHale is pretty darn funny!
Check out this clip, where Ronn and Kyle make an appearance in honor of their #5 ranking on the show’s end of the year Clipdown. And keep watching because they also help make fun of the #4 clip as well.
…or was it the worst year you can remember? Can you remember much of it at all? I’ve asked myself all of those questions already, so now I’m asking you.
I thought it was a mixed year. When I was writing this poll, the whole year seemed to have even less coherency than I originally thought. With the writer’s strike, everything became chaotic and seemed improvised for a while. This could be, sometimes unintentionally, entertaining. With the continual firing and hiring of writers and producers, it’s no wonder that focus was all over the place. Of course, that doesn’t make it any less frustrating. All the same, I’m not sure if any of that is why the year was what it was. Read the rest of this entry »
I really don’t feel as if much happened in Port Chuck this week. The biggest event was, of course, Robin and Patrick’s wedding. It was sentimental and loving, but truthfully, all of the same sentiment was expressed just a few weeks ago at their first wedding. The only difference was that this time around she wasn’t pregnant anymore, Robert showed up and gave her away and there were actual vows exchanged! Matt made an excellent best man, people danced at the reception and Robert and Anna were proud parents indeed. The standout performance came in the form of another of Spinelli’s fantasies. In it, he sang (beautifully!) the song “They Can’t Take That Away From Me” and danced with Maxie. My mere words can’t do it justice, please take a minute and check it out for yourself. I was mesmerized! Read the rest of this entry »
As Rick and Steffy continued to make out, Ridge and Brooke’s arrival interrupted them. Steffy hid and Rick did everything he could to hide his guilt, as the couple told him Ridge would do his best to try and forgive Rick, but that Rick had to stay away from Ridge and his family, which included Steffy! Rick said he was more than willing to meet Ridge’s demands. Read the rest of this entry »
Sharon moves out, Katherine is arrested, Jack goes back to Jabot, and Karen and Neil get married!
Though Jack thought Sharon wanted to work on their marriage, he was surprised when she invited him back to the mansion but took Noah and moved into the GCAC! Jack asked Billy to move in, but he declined, leaving Jack to warn him about spending further time with Lily – seeing as Billy’s the father of Chloe’s baby!
While Nikki spent Christmas with her children, Victor grieved Sabrina and his baby’s due date but was later surprised to see Abby had arrived home! Later that night, Victor went to the tack house and visited his family. After the holiday’s Victor showed up at Newman and announced to his children that he would be returning to work!
For those who want to know ahead of time, here’s what gives next week in Port Chuck:
Jax apparently sent a few mixed signals over the holidays because in spite of all the mistletoe action with Carly, he still feels that her heart will always belong to Sonny. He offers Olivia a job and then proceeds to hit on her! By week’s end, however, he and Carly realize that they simply cannot let go of each other.
The rest of the week, Carly has her hands full of trouble. Big surprise, eh? She puts herself in the middle of Jason and Sonny and begs them not to make things worse between them. Then, she gets in Claudia’s face. Read the rest of this entry »
Stephanie has found herself alone again this week after Eric went back to Donna. It’s familiar territory on B&B, but the aftermath doesn’t have to be the same. Considering Stephanie is a smart, confident, savvy woman, her next move should reflect that, shouldn’t it?
A lot happened to our friends in Port Charles in 2008.

Many Days viewers will remember Brody Hutzler as the mischievous Patrick Lockhart.
Since he left the show in early 2007, you may not have heard too much about him, but the actor has been keeping busy. Besides contributing his time to charities, Hutzler shot a movie called “The Intruders,” which is currently in post-production. The film tells the story of a man who invites several strangers into his home after the death of his mother, forever altering life as he knows it. Read the rest of this entry »
Victor wants Jack back at Jabot, Neil and Karen get Ana back, Gloria has a new agenda, and Heather and Paul are at odds – again!
Jack goes back to work at Jabot, and believe or not, Victor persuades Ashley to allow it! Knowing Victor doesn’t do anything without a reason, he’ll present Jill with an offer to get Jabot back and take Jack down as well!
