We’ve watched as Victor has approached Jill, Gloria and now Billy with a special offer, but who would profit the most from aligning themselves with the great man? Please take a moment to post in Soap Opera Fan Blog’s new poll!
Take a peek at who strolled the red carpet at the 2008 Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards!
Soaps.com, our sister site, travels to many of the soap events, and always has a spot on the red carpet for the best one – the Daytime Emmy Awards! To the left you’ll see what the madness looks like from above. Did you know that the Emmys are actually held at a mall? The Kodak Centre is part of a mall! Once our reporters hit the famous red carpet, the actors graciously stopped to smile for the cameras!
Here we see the very popular onscreen brother/sister dual, The Bold and the Beautiful’s Lesli Kay (Felicia Forrester) and Winsor Harmon (Thorne Forrester). With the California sun scorching down upon them, Lesli and Winsor looked equally hot in their black attire and had no problem tackling the heat for the press! Since their characters own part of the biggest fashion house in the fictional world, one would think they were wearing Forrester Originals! In any case, Lesli and Winsor were a combo class act! Lesli Kay told our reporters that she did her own makeup and hair. She figured there was no reason to pay all that money for something that wouldn’t last. We agree with her. It was 110 degrees here.
Nicole’s plotting goes into high gear this week. Both Sami and Mia give birth and Nicole gets the clever idea to switch their babies. Is she conniving enough to pull it off and will Dr. Baker stand in her way? At least EJ would still be getting his own child, even if it was by a different mother. And what other complications could arise from all of these blond women popping out babies around Elvis?
As promised, the end of the week’s spoilers have been included for The Bold and the Beautiful the week of January 26…
Someone makes an emotional confession and it doesn’t exactly go over very well. There are so many secrets being kept, this could pertain to anyone.
Rick formulates a plan, but much like the above confession, it pretty much backfires on him. After it all unravels, Steffy decides to put a stop to their relationship and tries to convince herself and Bridget that she is really over Rick. Read the rest of this entry »

General Hospital Weekly Summary for January 19 – 23!
What is going on?
That is my big question. So much is going on in so many different directions that I’m afraid to turn my head for a second. Spinelli’s trying to make deals, Claudia knows almost everything, Robin’s about to break down and what’s with all the black-and-white weirdness at the beginning of each show? It’s all leading to something – and I want to know now!
Here is what we know: Patrick tried to stop the surgery, the Feds know more than they are saying and Winifred has confirmed that both Sonny and Carly were in the hospital at the time of The Big Event.
Days of our Lives this week was mostly about John and Marlena reuniting and leaving town. Other things happened, but it was really all more of the same in my opinion, so I don’t have much new to comment on other than Jarlena.
I wish they didn’t resort to another crazy person coming between John and Marlena in order to bring them back together. Why couldn’t it have just been a nice love story instead? How many injections, mind control tactics and craziness can one couple endure? Since Sandra Robinson is a good actress, why couldn’t Charlotte have just helped John regain his memories and then stayed on to replace Marlena as the resident psychiatrist? Instead, we just got another therapist obsessed with the too good too be true Marlena. Read the rest of this entry »
Look who appeared at the 2008 Daytime Emmys SOAPnet Night Before Party!
Soaps.com, our sister site, was at the SOAPnet Night Before Party in 2008 and had a chance to catch up with a ton of Daytime stars, and Soap Opera Fan Blog wanted to share them with our readers!
Look who we have here – Days of Our Lives’ most love to hate couple! Though Nicole has her hands full keeping EJ in the dark about her non-pregnancy, Arianne Zucker and James Scott were in sync while taking time out to answer questions from Soaps.com and Soap Opera Fan Blog’s Editor-In-Chief Christine Fix!
On with the questions! Soaps.com journalist Shannon Burrell enjoyed a few minutes talking to The Bold and the Beautiful’s Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester) and Texas Battle (Marcus Walton)! We couldn’t help but notice how the two had matching black strips in their outfits! Planned or not? You be the judge! Too bad we won’t be seeing these two as a couple onscreen anymore. They really had sparks! However, the sparks are going to fly when everyone finds out that Steffy is shacking up with Rick – her father’s worst nightmare!
As Nick and Jackie received more Forrester designs from the mystery emailer, Stormy Seas, Clarke discovered what was going on and stated he was on board, considering he and Sally used to do the same thing back in the day. Nick was still apprehensive and wanted to figure out who was behind it before they moved forward with production. He and Jackie talked to the prime suspects: Stephanie, Thorne, Katie and Felicia, but still couldn’t figure out who was sending the designs. Nick received yet another email from Stormy Seas who said he/she would give them the entire Forrester collection if Nick would make him/her president of Jackie M. Nick was apprehensive, but Jackie felt they needed to meet this person’s demands in order to save the company. Nick reluctantly agreed and as promised, they received sketches of the whole collection. At the hospital, Marlena kisses John and tells him how much she loves him. He gasps as his eyes open. “I remember all of it Doc…” he stutters. She clings to his hand and giddily listens to him tell her that he loves her. Kayla comes in and Marlena tells her that he’s remembered. “I thought from the tests I ran that he might,” Kayla says sadly. Marlena wonders what’s wrong. Kayla explains that John’s nervous system has had a catastrophic episode and he has to be moved to a different hospital or die. She explains that there’s a facility in Switzerland that specializes in cases like John’s. Marlena runs out and sends Brady in to see his father. As Brady sits down, he soon discovers that the old John is back. John tells him how proud he is of him and that he’s always been in his heart. Read the rest of this entry »
