This week saw the completion of the John and Marlena story. That may be hard to believe for some viewers, especially when saying goodbye to a couple that had such an unbelievable history. While the supercouple was reunited in the past few weeks at super speed, viewers got the chance to catch a few flashbacks to their romantic history. One of the most startling things on display was how much of their past was actually about reminiscing about their past and John’s inability to recall it. We watched Sharon and Jack end their marriage this week. Next week we’ll watch Nick leave Phyllis, realizing that she can’t get over the kiss, but is he running too soon?

While attending the Restless Style party at Indigo, just as Lily commented to Cane about Billy and Chloe bonding, a friend of Billy and Chloe’s from New York arrived – and almost blew their past relationship out of the water! However, watching how tense Chloe and Billy were acting, Shiva figured out their issue – that they must be hiding the truth about Chloe’s baby!
As Amber and Daniel went through Kay’s memoirs with her, Kay saw the ring and said she had it on after the accident, but now it’s gone – she pawned it! Though Amber couldn’t get any information from the pawnshop owner, he made a mysterious call and warned someone not to connect him to the ring! Later, while Murphy and Kay grew closer at the trailer, neither noticed Clint spying them from outside!
The beginning of the New Year has brought new mysteries, new couples and more fashion on The Bold and the Beautiful. The focus has shifted to characters who have been back burned for a while and has gone from sex and romance to fashion and sabotage.

Daniel shows up on Lucas’ doorstep, telling him that there is something he needs to know about Chloe. Lucas is baffled but lets him in. Daniel explains that she is going through something and trying to cover it up. Lucas needs more information. Daniel suggests that she is too stressed to travel with him. When he asks Lucas what he and Chloe have been fighting about, Lucas says it’s none of his business. The doctor worries about her health and why she is running away. Lucas explains that she has an audition and repeats that this is none of his business. After hearing about how close Chloe is to Allie, Daniel agrees that this is none of his business. “You do have a life, don’t you?” Lucas asks. Daniel says he’s just being overprotective.
