Look who we caught up with backstage after the 34th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards in 2007!
While the before parties are great, and, of course, the Emmy Awards show is always filled with much excitement, Soaps.com, our sister site, was backstage after the 2007 event to be a part of all the press room activities! What’s it like? You’ll have to check out our Events Coverage section of our sister site for the low down. There’ll be a link to that section at the end of this post, but we can tell you this: There was a light lunch, a few press rooms, Judith Chapman was running around, shoes off, in between interviewing people, Shannon Burrell and Christine Fix, reporters for the site, were running between rooms getting photos and interviews from the actors, backstage, after their wins.
Days of Our Lives’ Eric Martsolf (Brady Black) and then Passions actress Lindsay Hartley (Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald) held the crowd’s eye! Though Theresa and Eric’s character Ethan have now rode off into the soapworld sunset, we are happy that he has returned to Daytime as Brady! Will Brady ever find his ‘Theresa’ in Salem? Stay tuned!

Days of Our Lives‘ James Reynolds (Abe Carver) was honored this past weekend. The actor was back in his home state of Kansas to receive recognition from Living the Dream Inc.. Each year, this organization provides scholarships and honors individuals, organizations and corporations for their contributions to the Topeka and Shawnee County community. On Saturday, January 17, the organization held their annual banquet in downtown Topeka, Kansas. Living the Dream Inc.’s mission is to highlight Dr. Martin Luther King’s philosophy of non-violence by recognizing the endeavors of various individuals and groups as they seek to teach human understanding and promote academic excellence.
