It’s always interesting to me how easy it is for fans to forget that their favorite soap characters aren’t actual people! To that end, I decided to do an interview series to help us all keep everyone straight! One of the actors I went to was the exotic Nazanin Boniadi, who plays nurse Leyla Mir, and here’s how she differentiated herself from Leyla:
Soap Opera Fan Blog: Describe your idea of a perfect weekend.
Nazanin: Going hiking, to the beach or some sort of exciting outdoor activity. Going to watch a great movie. Cooking up a storm and having close friends and family over, or trying a new restaurant.
Leyla: A few hours buried in her medical textbooks. Getting food delivered and watching a DVD at home with a couple of colleagues and friends. Read the rest of this entry »

Vanessa Marcil (ex-Brenda Barrett) has been cast in an extended storyline on Primetime’s “Without a Trace.” Looks like it’s time to be patient, again, for Brenda fans.
Senta Moses appeared on January 2 as Winnifred a female computer nerd. It was originally meant to be a brief five-episode run, but Guza is keeping her around a while!
Natalia Livingston is back! She won’t be playing living or dead Emily Quartermaine this time around. She’s a steamy new character named Rebecca Shaw, X-ray tech, beginning January 15!
Who will play Sonny and Olivia’s son Dante? That’s the million dollar question! However, those in the know have reported that they will announce their decision by month’s end.
It looks like Dillon Quartermaine is gone for good. Well, at least Scott Clifton’s portrayal of him that is, if One Life to Live has anything to say about it! He has just been cast in the role of Schuyler a high school faculty member. Read the rest of this entry »

To that end, I decided to do an interview series to help us all keep everyone straight! The first person I went to was the lovely Julie Marie Berman, who plays Lulu Spencer, and here’s how she differentiated herself from Lulu:
Soap Opera Fan Blog: Describe your idea of a perfect weekend. Julie Marie: Beach, barbecue and beer. Lulu: Anything where Maxie doesn’t show up in a bathing suit. Read the rest of this entry »
Who? What? When? Where? And how in the heck did one surgery lead to such a mess?
I guess that’s what GH writers know and we’re supposed to figure out, eh? Well, this week there were precious few clues to that end. All we know at this point is that Patrick tried to stop Matt from operating on someone but didn’t get to the OR in time. After that, it appears that all heck broke loose. All that has been revealed at this point is that Patrick ends up in some kind of mysterious interrogation and Winifred is back at a desk job talking about the inability to do autopsies because of the nature of the deaths. Oh yea, and that Sonny Corinthos was indeed in the hospital at the time and no one knows if he survived or not.
From this point on, the clock went back several hours to show what events led up to the trauma. Here’s how everyone’s week went: Read the rest of this entry »
Well, she hasn’t been around for long but the rumors about Mia (no last name) are already swirling. Some think she is Nicole’s sister; some think she is her daughter with Trent or someone else and others think she is a con artist. Since it looks like the actress who plays her could be sticking around for awhile at least, how could she be figuring into the plots? She certainly took a shine to the DiMera mansion the other day, so maybe she’ll move in. Read the rest of this entry »
