The Young and The Restless Spoilers for Jan 27-30!
What’s going on in Genoa City? Things are getting good, but don’t miss an episode this week or you just might miss Brad. Don Diamont, his portrayer will be last seen on canvas in the coming days, we hear.
Phyllis and Nick have yet another argument, but they get past it and go home to their little girl. These two have a rough road ahead of them. Is this the end to their issues or is there more on the horizon? I can tell you that at the end of the week, Nick blames Phyllis for something that happens to Noah.
Michael takes Katherine to the pawn shop, where they find her ring! Amber is thrilled, knowing they’ll soon be able to give proof to the rest of the city. Still no DNA test in sight. Gee. That would move things along rather fast, don’t you agree? But wait, Michael did talk to a judge about getting a DNA test, but the judge denied it. Where do these people live? Don’t they know that they can pay and get their own DNA test? It’s about $200 or $400 dollars. Amber can spring. After all, she has a lot of Katherine’s money!
Roger proposes to our favorite ditz, Esther, who promptly accepts the proposal, leaving Cane, Billy and Lily astonished at her abrupt decision. Speaking of our gal Lily, she tries her hand at bartending but it doesn’t work out.
And what’s going on with the Newman clan? Well, Victor gives Bradly an ultimatum. When Brad asks for immunity from prosecution, Victor refuses. Victor also dismisses Nikki’s concerns. Nikki then goes to Ashley and tells her what Ashley has already thought of….that she’s only there for Victor because Sabrina’s not. (In so many words!) Isn’t it true? Isn’t it too soon for Victor to be back in love with Ashley? We’ll see.
We haven’t heard about Nikki’s pretty blonde sister, Casey, the doctor, for ages, but we’ll find out that she has cancer. What this means, I’ve no idea. I don’t know if they’re bringing the actress back or if Nikki will leave town for a time. She used to go to New York on Christmas shopping expeditions and I miss that! Don’t you?
All good things must come to an end. I’ve enjoyed the character of Brad Carlton for years and now his time is coming to an end. Not in a good way. Noah and Eden plot to go to a party at the lake, but the way they get there is through lies and manipulations from their caregivers. Look for Brad to save the kids when they get into a spot of trouble. These will be Brad’s last scenes… just warning you! You’ll note that Brad’s saying goodbye to some of the characters in a sense….he’ll walk down memory lane with Traci and Colleen and will try once more to get with Sharon, when Traci tells him not to give up! He doesn’t and goes to Sharon and confesses he loves her, but does she love him back? He helps Noah and goes missing, on Friday, when Nick and Sharon’s nightmare comes true.
There’s more I haven’t spilled and more to come! I’ll see you back here Friday. Until then, check out our Y&R weekly summaries, news, actor Bios, appearances, video clips, polls and comings and goings, and please leave us a comment!
