Days of Our Lives Casts Dylan Patton as The New Will.
At the end of the month, viewers will get to lay their eyes on a new addition to Sami’s growing family.
Days of Our Lives will be adding Dylan Patton to the cast. He will be taking on the role of Will. The young actor will be replacing Christopher Gerse, who had the role of Sami and Lucas’ son from September 2003 – November 2007. No word on why the part was recast but this new Will is almost certain to bring even more trouble to Salem and than before. Will he push to get his parents back together, or does he have other plans for them when he returns to town?
Dylan Patton is no stranger to TV. He’s already in episodes of “That’s so Raven” and “Cold Case.” He’s also been in the films “Paradise, Texas,” “So Others May Live” and “First Strike.” Look for him to make his debut on February 27.

I do like the idea of some of the fans that feel he is Mia’s ex -boyfreind that will mean that Sami is raising her own grandaughter how to you like that idea ?????

hmmm, i wonder if they will revisit the Who Shot EJ storyline now. I always thought Lucas was merely protecting Will, the real shooter and that’s why he was sent to Europe.

Will has always been a whiny brat. Just like Sami! I don’t like his charactor at all. Why are they bringing all these
ew people in and taking away everyone else. I fast forward through half the show now-I can’t stand watching Daniel boink everything he lays eyes on and hearing Chloe act a victim all the time. YUCK!! Sami and Lucas have been brought back together so many times it is rediculous! Keep her with Rafe and have a
ormal family. I miss Days when it was good!

I hope the new Will is better than the old Will. The old Will got on my last nerve big time. Personally, I love Sami & Lucas together. I think he understands her better than EJ does, and seems to be more of a friend than anyone else on the show. I also believe that if they plan on keeping all the young people on the show, at least write story lines with the quality of in the past, not this crap we’re getting now.

I agree 100% that Sami and Rafe would be a super couple, IF they could just stop her from whinning long enough to make a good story line. WIll as Mia’s ex-boyfriend??? Now that sounds interesting

I kinda liked Sami with EJ- Lucas seemed to be a verbal abuser when he blew his stack… I agree on Will - I didn’t love his character, and I agree he was the one who shot EJ and Lucas covered it. Yet another casuality of the ever rotating writer debacle that seems to plague the show. DAYS/NBC- GET SOME DECENT WRITERS, STICK WITH THEM, GIVE THEM ENOUGH TIME TO JUICE IT UP - AND GET YOUR SUPER COUPLES BACK…YOUR CURRENT RX ISN’T WORKING - JUST LIKE WITH YOUR NEWS NETWORKS…

Will as Grace’s father??? What would that do to the inevitable paternity/maternity test that Grace will have? How confusing will it be when Grace has some of Sami’s DNA, but not 99.99%? Although I think Sami and EJ had a lot of chemistry, are we supposed to forget that he raped her? It’s not like when Steve raped Jennifer. He didn’t end up with her. Because of that, I do not like Sami with EJ! Can we PLEASE get rid of Daniel? His character has turned into the most disgusting, perverted person who wants to sleep with everyone in Kate’s family! Good thing Billie is gone! He would have been good with Kate, but the writer’s ruined it by putting him with Chloe, another woman who is way too young for him! And Chelsea? Really? Eww! Melanie…whiny, spoiled, annoying young brat. Chopping block, please??? Since Days is losing some of its best supercouples, will they bring others back? Jack and Jennifer!

Every day another long time actor is leaving…who is going to be left? AT this rate you may as well just cancel the show. I too fast forward through almost the whole show. It is boaring and already miss the actors you have taken

I did post in several Websites way before Wil was annouce comeing back that Mia had to have some connection to Salem I said what If her baby father was Will.Again I said I had Bo’s gift it looks like it is heading that way.Some people believe that Will could not be this bad man in Mia’s life. Come on Will was horrible towards his mother if he was mad to his mother what would make someone think he would be good to any women. Will has seen so much what Sami has done all of Lucas issues that could only results in childhood issues he has developed into as a teeneager and later as a adult. Thoes will be the problems Sami will encounter and that she is raising her own grandbaby.

I look forward to seeing the new Will…hopefully he won’t be a terrible actor like the last Will (couldn’t stand to even watch him). I can see so many storylines emerging with him turning into a troubled teen because of the guilt of shooting EJ and letting his dad (Lucas) take the rap for it. It would make sense that he met Mia and got her pregnant during his time of turmoil. It will probably be Rafe as the hero who saves the day by getting Grace back for Mia and Will and then giving Sami back her baby from Nicole and EJ. In Will’s eyes, this will make Rafe okay to be with his mother instead of his father. I like Rafe and Sami together but I am also a BIG fan of Lucas and Sami as I have watched the show for 39 years and have watched their love emerge and grow over the years. It will be interesting to see what happens with Will, Mia, Sami, Rafe, EJ, and Nicole…

I have to say I use to root for Sami & EJ to be together, but after seeing Sami with Rafe..I’d be happy if those two were a couple!! There’s SO much chaos with EJ/Lucas/Sami..the whole love triangle!

I think they have aged Will way too fast. Sami and Lucas are way too young to be grandparents. Its utterly rediculous. I mean, both characters are in their 30s. Its just too weird to think Sami’s new daughter and possibly grandaughter are the exact same age. I think they should keep Sami with Rafe. I don’t know what she sees in EJ. She has obviously forgotten that he raped her. Plus he’s a Dimera. That right there should raise a few red flags..never get involved with a DImera cause it only brings trouble!

Nicole and Brady belong together once the secret is out that she lost her baby and EJ will leave her. EJ and Sami can be a happy family with their two kids.

I agree with Cooper that it would be weird to have Sami be a Grandmother at her age. But She had Will as a teen and if he fathered Mia’s baby as a teen, then it could be possible to be a Grandmother in your 30’s.

Cooper you gotta remember Sammi had Will as a teenager, so that is not the worse of the aging. What is werid is EJ was born when I was in Middle School and is now older that me and I am 26…lol

ITA with Stephanie. I was a freshman in HS when EJ was born and now he’s older than I am. If they aged Will as fast as they did EJ he’d be what, about 35?

I just wanted to point out that an earlier posted said Steve raped Jennifer…. that never happened!!! Steve never raped anyone. That was his brother, Jack who raped Kayla, not Jennifer either. As for EJ, what he did was still rape, maybe not violent but it certainly was not what Sami wanted. She wanted Lucs to live, that’s it, she did not want to sleep with EJ. EJ is just scum for not helping and saying sex is the only way I will help you…. I mean come on!!! As far as Will goes, I like the new on better than the old one so far… old one was bad. I dunno about him being the father of grace… would make things more interesting for sure but I do have issues with his age…
