Days of Our Lives: Where Are They Now? Kenny Jezek.
Longtime viewers of Days of Our Lives will remember Kenny Jezek as Lars Englund.
He played the Russian defector from 1986 –1987, and was embroiled in the battles between Steve and Bo. He was also involved with Melissa Horton and they worked in a dance company together until a busted leg put her out of the running and he skipped town.
Since leaving Days, Kenny has been doing very much what his on-screen alter-ego did, dance. After featured roles on TV series like “Fame” and “St. Elsewhere” and movies like “Pretty in Pink”, he returned to the stage and danced across America in productions of “Cats” and “42nd Street.”
Now he’s running his own theater company in Gilbert, Arizona with the help of his wife, Karen Jezek (ex-Brenda, “Capitol”). They founded the Command Performers together with a mission to contribute to the community by performing quality, affordable, family-friendly plays and musicals which would reflect Judeo-Christian values.
Their first production, “Little Women,” will run from March 20-21 at the Mesquite High School Performing Arts Auditorium at 500 S. McQueen Rd. in Gilbert, Arizona. For more information, or to purchase tickets, please go to the Command Performers website.
