NASCAR’s Jeff Burton to Appear on General Hospital.
Life in the fast lane?
Scrubs fans remember all too well when Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) would rather play with his race cars than buy furniture with Robin. Well, it looks as if the former playboy’s dreams are about to come true when he comes face to face with NASCAR driver Jeff Burton (playing himself) this Thursday February 19. Burton has appeared on sitcoms and commercials, but this stint on General Hospital will be his first soap work.
And, since turnabout is fair play, Jason will visit Jeff at work on Sunday February 22 at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California. He’ll actually get to do a few laps in Burton’s pace car before the Auto Club 500, and the two will join forces after the race in the Caterpillar hospitality tent for a meet and greet with soap and NASCAR fans alike.
