Days of Our Lives star takes up the challenge.

Beginning on April 14, Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady) will be adding another exciting adventure to her resume. The actress and reality TV show host will be participating in the inauguration of EA SPORTS Active 30 Day Challenge. The event will be taking place at a resort and spa in Santa Barbara with fitness trainer, Bob Greene. As Alison and the other participants learn about fitness and nutrition, they’ll be blogging and twittering to provide journals of their time in the program.

Also participating will be Lauren Bernat, aka the “Wii Fit Girl”; Monica Brady, a stay-at-home mom to twin three-year-old girls; and Donny Claxton, a blogging father of seven. All of the participants plan to take on their fitness goals from home with the help of a motivation and fun fitness program designed for the Wii.™ There will be a new workout every day, each tailored to the participant’s fitness level and goals, allowing the program to adapt and grow right alongside those who use it.

The product will also be available at your local Best Buy, Walmart, GameStop or Toys “R” Us, retailing at $59.95.
