Anthony’s gone, Spinelli took off and Michael just might be waking up.
Let’s start with the obvious, shall we? Anthony went to prison. Sonny chose to spend his fleeting time trying to free Claudia from the bomb that Anthony set and let the old man run free. Of course, he knew that Jason would likely be on hand to deliver the old goat to the Feds. He was. He also talked Sonny through how to diffuse a bomb via cell phone. Clint furthers his plan, Sharon continues to blackout, Victor makes an announcement, and two couples make plans to wed!
With Esther a hostage, like Kay, she feared Chloe would think she abandoned her. Though Kay hit Roger over the head with her memoir, and Annie stabbed him, the women were stopped from leaving and tied up by Clint – except Esther, who was forced to leave with Roger, meet Jill and offer to sell Jill her half of the Chancellor Estate! However, fearing that Chloe would take the baby and leave with Esther, Jill refused, even after Esther reproached her, alone, with the truth – that Clint was holding Kay! Back at the safehouse, after Kay reminded Clint of a gift he gave to Gina, something Marge wouldn’t have known, Clint was astonished that he had the real Katherine Chancellor!
While worrying about Kay’s whereabouts, Amber and the crew printed up some ‘Katherine T-Shirts’, and Murphy arrived, only for them all to figure out that the note Kay left him spelled the word Clint – using the first letter of each sentence! After Amber and Daniel went to Jimmy’s bar, where Clint approached Amber claiming to have seen the woman on her flyers, Gina arrived to meet Daniel – and warned them not to trust Clint! However, against Daniel’s warnings, Amber and Kevin continued to search for Katherine – and Kevin ended up being caught and thrown in the trunk of a car, while Clint left a bomb in the motel room! Clint, Roger, and Annie drove away with Kevin in the trunk, but Amber arrived at the motel, with Gloria behind, and saved Kay and Esther. However, as they were leaving the room, the bomb ticked down and finally exploded!
