From Genoa City to the Capital!

The Young and the Restless actress Kate Linder (Esther Valentine) is always caught attending one function or another – especially when it comes to her favorite charities. However, Soap Opera Fan Blog happens to know that Kate marched right up Capital Hill to express her support for her fellow actors and ‘airy friends’, as she’s also a United Airlines Attendant!

Paying for her trip with her own money, Kate hit Washington D.C. hard to advocate for more filming in Los Angeles and for the Aviation Group – in an attempt to create more jobs in both venues! Pictured with her good friend, Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, Kate supported the mayor’s ‘call for help’ for the entertainment community, as well as presented the mayor and Congressman Brad Sherman with The Young and the Restless hats!

Soap Opera Fan Blog commends Kate for her efforts, and everyone in both fields should be lucky to have her on their side!
