Dark days in Genoa City for some of our friends, while others begin fresh new lives together.

This week, Kevin has a breakthrough, with help from pal, Amber, who helps him confront his fears. The scene of Amber dancing with the chipmunk head made me giggle. I find it amusing because I’m used to the campiness of old Days of Our Lives, but annoying at the same time. To appreciate it, one has to keep in mind that the hallucinations from a mental patient are never that easy to understand. They always represent some underlying issue.

Fourth time is the charm for dear Cane, who gets a big “YES!” from Lily, upon proposing marriage. Can’t say that I care one way or the other. These two are ultra boring, to moi! ” Save the date! May 15 they’ll wed.

The calamities and the lies pile up in Salem.

Following the chaos unleashed by the DiMera’s bloodbath, Salem’s hardest working detective, Hope, heads over to the mansion to ask Nicole some uncomfortable questions. Meanwhile, Stefano will be getting some uncomfortable answers when his daughter, Lexi, comes to him with news from some medical tests. It turns out that he has diabetes.
