Here’s the latest on the Comings and Goings at Days of Our Lives!
Yvette Freeman will be retuning to Salem to help nurse Grace when she falls ill.
Wes Ramsey (Owen) will be exiting the series during the week of June 1.
Mark Hapka will be coming on board to play Nathan Horton, Melissa and Pete’s son. He will be working as an intern at the hospital and expected to be paired with Melanie.
Casey Jon Deidrick will be turning up in town as Chad, mysterious Mia’s ex.
It is rumored that Nick Stabile could be joining the cast as a Horton. Nick used to play Mark Wolper on “Sunset Beach” and briefly played Fox Crane on Passions.
The studio let our friends at Soaps.com know that Donnell Turner was the man who played the strikingly handsome doctor who Nicole all-too-briefly spoke with on May 8.
Ailisha and Julia O’Connor are now playing baby Grace.
Brie Gabrielle will be showing up in town as Mia’s cousin, Jamie. She will be poking her head up just in time to interrupt a tender moment between Will and Mia on Friday May 29.
Salem’s grouchiest physician, Doctor Baker (John Callahan), will be leaving town. Callahan departs on May 13, but, much like last time he left, he will be back in Salem some day.
Jon Prescott (best known as Mike, As the World Turns) has auditioned for a role as one of the Horton clan.
A casting call has done out for a nasty teenaged boy who just may be the father of Mia’s baby. Casting are also looking for 25 year old medical student, expected to become Melanie’s newest boy-toy.
Gordon Thomson is taking on the recurring role of Walter, father of Owen the gardener and occasional kidnapper. He will first appear on Tuesday May 18.
Darin Brooks (Max Brady) is leaving the show in May. His pilot for the series “Blue Mountain State,” was picked up by a network. Fans of the actor will be able to see him on Primetime in teh near future.
Shelby Young plays Kinsey, a girl from south Salem who fills Will in on the gossip surrounding Mia’s past on Thursday, May 7.
Wes Ramsey is joining the cast as the Kiriakis’ gardener, Owen, on Friday, May 8.

glad to read no more characters are leaving.. dr baker will return and the only other one i hate to see going is max..
hopefully they will keep the rest of the characters as is..
sounds like they are trying to get more of the “younger” bunch to look at the show..
loved today’s episode where ej and victor were talking.. stefano will get better to go after victor and the kirakis clan.. but will stephanie be the one the grab..
read where ej and philip are trading off stephanie for stefano..

What was the reason for replacing Grace. I was so shocked when I saw the new baby.
The original baby was just adorable and stole the scenes.

seems like they do this every summer-gearing up for a younger storyline. I don’t much care for those but maybe if they’re dealing with Mia and the baby’s dad it will be more interesting since it will involve the “older” ladies (Sami and Nicole)

The storyline is too drawn out and needs to hold the viewer’s attention with revealing the unknowns.

really time to fix the baby switch…Nicole did a horrible thing and the babies will suffer when they have to leave the only mom they have known since birth…writers, fix this problem NOW!!

I think some how sami will end up with both the babies because mia sees how great she is with grace and then grace will really be adopted. And when Sami finds out that sydney is really hers shell do what ever she has to to get nicole away from her baby

Can’t wait to see what EJ and Stefano do when they learn about Nicole’s lies about her baby, not to mention what Sami will do when she learns Sydney is really her child. I agree it’s time to fix the baby switch!!!!!

Days is getting out of control. The baby switch is to long . EJ and Stephano is working my last. Will i fast forward because i’m tried of how lom=ng you people drag something out. Deal with that tramp Nicole its time, Let stephanie and phillup live there life. And let sami come out on top.

I love what’s happening rite now but I think the baby switch should be over and phillip should marry stephanie and have a baby and be left alone for a while. Get brady a girl or have ej find out about the baby switch leave nichole and she can be with brady. Or alone I really hate nichole!

i think ej was out in left field
talking to sami like that, after all he knew his father was trying to kill her plus he knew she heard him say they wanted to put a hit on philip. so why couldn’t he understand sami would want to keep her baby safe not like she didn’t tell him that with johnny, he is way out of line telling her she killed her baby, i use to like him cause i thought he was understanding with sami and her fears with his father, now the writers are making him a real dope.
