Rachel Melvin is saying farewell to Days, but she’s not the only one.
Her alter-ego, Chelsea Brady, will be saying goodbye to Salem and the people in her life both on-screen and off. Rick Hearst is coming back to B&B!
Hearst will reprise his role of Whipple “Whip” Jones III, who married Brooke in 2002 to help her cover up the fact that Deacon, who was married to Bridget at the time, was the father of her baby.
Aside from B&B, the soap veteran has also appeared on Days of our Lives as Scotty Banning, Guiding Light as Alan-Michael Spaulding, The Young and the Restless as Matt Clark and General Hospital as Ric Lansing, where he was recently bumped to recurring status.

As the mob war spins out of control, who will the next victim be?
Stefano must be having flashbacks. Once again he is unconscious and imprisoned. This time Marlena isn’t behind it, it’s his other arch rivals – the Kiriakis family. As the mob war heats up this week, it won’t only be the power players in the families that end up getting caught in the cross fire. Just when her life was going where she wanted it to, mob-wife-to-be Stephanie winds up being abducted and locked away by the Kiriakis’ gardener. Did the DiMeras finally hire someone competent to do their dirty work?

Michael!
The week started calmly enough for the extended Corinthos family. Carly was still down in South Carolina and Michael’s surgery was set for next month. Suddenly Patrick noticed some of his levels dropping and declared that if surgery didn’t take place within a few hours it wouldn’t be worth attempting. Dr. Hanson strongly disagreed but she had to rush off to Europe to be with her sick mother. Jax wanted to wait for her to return and Sonny agreed. Jason struggled with what to tell Carly, but as soon as she returned he laid it all on her. She sided with Patrick and the surgery began. Jax, Carly, Claudia, Sonny and Jason all waited together, but it wasn’t pretty.
Rebecca and Nikolas talked through their respective dalliances with others and came to the conclusion that they’d like to see each other. She asked him to help her paint her room above Kelly’s and they had fun in the process. Alexis found proof that Rebecca had spent some time in Greece and she assumed that was proof that Helena was involved. Nikolas said even if that were true, he wouldn’t care at that point.
