ABC confirmed that the actor has quit.

There’s been plenty of speculation, but Soap Opera Fan got word today that Rick Hearst (Ric Lansing) will be leaving General Hospital for parts unknown. Perhaps it’s not all that unkown…I suspect that there could be some truth to the rumblings about the Emmy-winning actor going to another soap, but we don’t report things until they’re confirmed. Rafe shows Sami the stars and Elvis blows up.

Nicole is horrified when EJ invites Dr. Baker over to the mansion for a chat. Elvis claim he simply enjoys the doctor’s company. Since she doesn’t buy that, he tells her that his father has gone missing. When Dr. Baker arrives, Elvis accuses him of all and sundry. The doctor tells EJ, “I had nothing to do with your father’s disappearance, but I think I know someone who might.” The doctor then takes more threats from EJ and then a second helping of them from Nicole after Elvis steps out. Maybe he should have actually listened for once because he ends up being rushed to the hospital. Nicole yells at the maid to call an ambulance. “He fell. I don’t think he’s breathing!” she says. B&B honored for the fourth year in a row!

The Monte Carlo Television Festival has once again recognized The Bold and the Beautiful by nominating it for a TV Audience Award.

B&B has won this award the last three years in a row, which rewards programs for drawing in the highest number of worldwide viewers. B&B will go up against two other nominees at the festival on June 11, 2009 at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.

Last night, some of Daytime was spotted at the Pound for Pound Challenge Wrap Party at the Sunset Tower Hotel at 8358 West Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, California!

Hosted by Feeding America, The Bold and the Beautiful’s Kyle Lowder (Rick Forrester), along with wife Arianne Zucker (Days of Our Lives’ Nicole DiMera), as well as her co-star Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady), came out for the big event!

It’s Do or Die for Michael.

Patrick takes a page from Dr. McSteamy’s book when he has a little “God” thing going on. He insists that Michael’s surgery can’t wait, but Dr. Hansen thinks she has time to go to Europe first. Jax sides with Dr. Hansen, but when Carly returns and Jason fills her in, she sides with Patrick.
