From Daytime to Primetime, crazier things have happened!

For those who missed Eric’s appearance last year on “How I Met Your Mother,” CBS will be rebroadcasting the episode on June 1! Please check your local listings for the time slot in your area.

Soap Opera Fan Blog has just received word that Eric’s appearance on “How I Met Your Mother” will air on Monday November 3 on CBS at 8:30 PM EST!

He plays one of the most well known fathers on Daytime through his role of Victor Newman on CBS’ The Young and the Restless, and now Eric Braeden will make a fatherly guest appearance in Primetime as well on the hit show “How I Met Your Mother!” Although there has yet to be a release date on his appearance, here’s the details as we know them…

Eric will appear as the father of Robin (Cobie Smulders) - with the same namesake, Robin Charles Scherbatsky, Sr.! Look for Robin to name ‘Daddy Robin’ as the one person she would most hate to run into - then bam, there he is!
