Catching Up With Former General Hospital Star Serah D’Laine.

Serah D’Laine, formerly known as Sarah Laine, played Sarah Webber, Elizabeth’s sister, on both General Hospital and “Port Charles” in 2002, but she’s been busy since leaving the role behind.

After leaving Daytime, the Santa Barbara born actress appeared in episodes of “Like Family,” “Jake in Progress,” “Cold Case” and played Dr. Megan Winters in “Wicked Wicked Games.” She was already no stranger to Primetime, however, having previously appeared in guest spots on “Roswell” and “Spin City” before winding up in the movie, “American Pie 2.”

In the past few years, audiences could have caught her in the lead role in “Wild Things: Diamonds in the Rough,” as Zombie Cara in “Flight of the Living Dead: Outbreak on a Plane” or as a young nurse in “Parasomnia.” This year has proved to be a busy one. She starred “Redefining Love,” release this February and can be seen as Erica in the comedy “Knuckle Draggers.” That film is being screened at film festivals this summer, but you can have a sneak peek by checking out the trailer on the film’s website.

Audiences can see even more of he soon. Serah will be appearing in “The Rig,” which follows the crew of an offshore oil rig as they get caught in a tropical storm. If that wasn’t rough enough, they will also be forced to survive the attack of a creature whose habitat they invaded.
