Days of Our Lives Adds David Leisure and Catherine Wadkins to the Cast.

Days of Our Lives is about to add two more characters to its swelling summer cast.

TV vet David Leisure is set to arrive as Salem’s new District Attorney. He was mostly recently seen on Daytime during his recent run on The Young and the Restless. His first official air date hasn’t been announced but Producer Ken Corday has already hinted that he will have a very busy time keeping the towns explosive crime rate under control.

He’s not the only soap actor who will be popping up either. Catherine Wadkins will also be showing up in town. She was last on Daytime back in 2004 when she played Mary Bishop on General Hospital. This time around she’ll be playing the grieving widow of a man named Carlo. Audiences can expect her to appear on August 3 and 4 in the company of Phillip (Jay Kenneth Johnson).

Soap Opera Fan Blog is happy to welcome them both on board.

I’ve seen David Leisure in alot of shows and he was always so funny. I hope they give him a sense of humor on the show.

  2. From Rina

LOVE LOVE LOVE him. I remember him from Empty Next.

  3. From Casey

So happy that Vivian is coming back to Days. She was fantastic, very funny - and I still think she and Ivan are Philip’s parents due to a mix-up at the lab!

  4. From Betty

Don’t care for him to much.

I have been a Days fan since the 60’s and it seems the show has gotten out of hand with so many story lines, triangles, new faces and I wish the writers would stop and think before they scramble so much. I will still keep watching though for it is a GREAT show.
