Days of Our Lives’ Alison Sweeney Talks About Baby Grace.
This week has been a grim one in Salem…
The death of baby Grace has been hard for audiences and for the actors, but it’s given everyone plenty of rich dramatic material. Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady) has been blogging about her experience with the story. Here’s a glimpse of what she had to say:
“This storyline has brought us so many mixed feelings. We were all so excited to take on the challenge of a story so difficult and painful, and definitely intimidated at the same time. I was so moved reading the scripts. I thought the whole thing was put together so beautifully. Every scene bled into the next, and though it took several days to get through it, it still seemed to move so fast to me.
I loved getting the opportunity to do such emotional scenes with Galen. He is always so fun to work with - but these scenes were different. No one was cracking jokes, we were all so serious all day…”

yea, this was a sad week..
i hated that grace died but the baby switch thing was getting kind of old..
maybe now they can go onto something else..
it appears from what I read, sami is going to lose johnny to ej and will is going to move out when he finds out grace was ej’s and that sami lied to him about it..
sure hope rafe can stay with sami, i love their relationship.. he seems to really care about her..
i guess nicole will get away with the sydney thing as long as she can stay on stefano’s good side..

I would like to know who the writers are on this show these days, because i am getting sick to my stomach on the way the men are being portayed,… its as if no man has a spine, the only one that sorta has one is Stefano Di Mera, the rest are a bunch of tools!!,..either they change the direction or i’ll be leaving the only soap i watch.

We (myself and the fans I talk to every day) are absolutely APPALLED. First of all that the writers would kill off Grace - the opportunity for incredible story lines over the years would have been limitless. Instead we get crap like watching non stop bed scenes and Lucas/Chloe/Daniel - YAWN - Phillip and Stephanie in bed - bigger yawn and the non stop repeated repeated repeated repeated Kate drama - just shut her up and kill HER off. THEN…for Sami to say how she ‘LOVED the opportunity to do such an emotional scene - HOW SICK ARE YOU? DO YOU PEOPLE REALIZE HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE LOST BABIES AND TO TRIVIALIZE THIS - you (writers) are pretty much desperate for story lines but boy have you gone in the wrong direction - getting rid of the ones that could have brought you tremendous stories for years in the entanglements of these little girls getting to know each other and discovering their history, etc. But you keep KATE instead. What idiots. Not sure how much longer you can keep attention of the fans - we are already fast forwarding 3/4 of the show anyway - want to go for 100% you are certainly on the right path!!!!!11

TODAYS DAYS ROCKED!! For the first time in along time I CRIED my eyes out. I sure hope the scenes between EJ and Sami win an emmy. They nailed it!

I started watching Days last summer with sister….I never watched soaps before but got caught up a bit in Days. I continued watching Days each day until I knew Grace was going to die. I just couldn’t bear that and have not watched it since. Way too unbearable to watch for me anyway. I am only blogging about this because I wanted to let someone know I am done with Days and soaps!!Lesson learned! Life can be difficult enough without taking this on… I hate watching familes being destroyed…
