General Hospital Spoilers for June 22-26.

Morgan is in danger and he’s not the only one.

Carly and Jax finally reach a decision about what to do with Michael, but will it stick when events in their lives get in the way? Perhaps they should be more worried about his little brother… It appears that Morgan’s life is in danger. When he goes missing, Carly and Michael desperately search for him. Could this bring the mother and son closer together? It does lead to some friction between the young man and his father. After they have a fevered encounter, Carly decides Michael isn’t safe with Sonny. To try and win his troubled son over, the mobster goes over the top in a bid to earn his forgiveness. Catching Up With Former General Hospital Star Robert LaSardo.

Robert LaSardo will be etched into the minds of GH viewers as Father Mateo Ruiz and Manny Ruiz, but the actor has been busy since leaving the chaos of Port Charles behind him.

LaSardo recently completed work on the movie “Double Tap.” It follows a detective seeking solace in a bottle of Vicodin and dose of revenge after his wife is killed. Days of Our Lives’ Alison Sweeney and The Biggest Loser Head to San Antonio.

The Biggest Loser will be looking for contestants in San Antonio Texas, which just happens to be one of America’s heaviest cities.

They will be searching in San Antonio as part of a 15-city tour to find contestants for their ninth season. This will provide soap fans with the chance to meet the show’s host, and Days star, Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady). Family teams of two, such as parent/child, siblings, spouses, cousins, in-laws and couples are being called upon to apply this time around. Days of Our Lives Spoilers for June 18-19.

It’s another sad day in Salem as everyone prepares for baby Grace’s funeral.

At Casa DiMera, Nicole tries to stop her husband from lingering in his excessive grief. She also tries to convince him it’s a bad idea to take Sydney to the funeral. In spite of keeping a level head with Elvis, she’s still feeling terrible. Perhaps that’s why she keeps defending herself and insisting to Brady that, “What I did was right for EJ and for Sydney.” Meanwhile, Junior is already busy trying to secure full custody of Johnny. If launching his new vendetta against Sami on the day of Grace’s funeral wasn’t brutal enough, he also tells Stephanie that, “You’re lucky to be alive.” She slaps him and tells him never to threaten her again. General Hospital Actor Ward Costello Passes Away.

Television veteran Ward Costello passed away in Redlands, California on June 4 following from complications related to a stroke. The actor was eighty-nine years old.

During his lengthy career, Ward was best known for roles on “The Streets of San Francisco,” (as Capt. Roy Devitt from 1976-1977) “Barnaby Jones,” (as Charles Markwell from 1976-1978) and “Firefox,” where he played General Rogers in 1982. He also had a substantial career in the soaps, appearing on “The Secret Storm” (as Peter Ames from 1964 – 1966), “Edge of Night” (as Jack Berman) and General Hospital (as Senator Martin Drake from 1981 – 1989).  He was also a composer and wrote the lyrics to the theme for the James Cagney film, “The Gallant Hours.” Read the rest of this entry »

All My Children, Bold and The Beautiful & Young and The Restless Pre-empted in Los Angeles Area June 17.

Oh no! Soap lovers detest change and pre-emptions and who can blame them, especially when they pre-empt our beloved soaps for sports?

Thankfully, the Lakers Championship Parade, in Los Angeles California, is one good reason for a pre-empt. Many soap fans seem to like sports, too, (not this reporter!) so when you turn on KCBS-TV to watch your CBS soaps this afternoon, you’ll see the parade, instead.
