It was another strong week for the show and the actors really gave it their all.

GH gets the money out of their new stairs, grifters get a kick of conscience and the kids aren’t exactly alright.

We were treated to the revelation that Rebecca is Emily’s long lost twin sister, sold on the black market and raised far away. Then we learned something even more surprising – she’s been working a con with Ethan since before she came to Port Charles. Although she knew plenty about who she was, after a chance meeting in the airport, Ethan convinced her to scheme her way into the wallets of the Quartermain and Cassadine families. Reunions, break-ups and drug induced decisions.

When Brooke didn’t forbid Rick from seeing Steffy, Ridge walked out on her and went to Phoebe’s grave where he ran into Taylor. After seeing how upset he was, Taylor gave him some pills to help him relax and then drove him to the Big Bear cabin. After secretly taking more of Taylor’s pills, Ridge kissed her and decided he couldn’t live with Brooke any longer. After returning home from Big Bear, Ridge told Brooke he couldn’t take her constant defense of Rick, or Rick in general, and he was leaving her. Brooke, however, told him they could work it out and insisted he not move out. Ridge wanted Brooke to hate Rick as much as he did, but knew he couldn’t expect that, so he had to end things and he left.

Ashley lost more than she knew, an imposter reappeared, Mary Jane went bird – Jack/Phyllis – watching, and Nina continued to push Cane for answers…

After her fall, Adam convinced Ashley that it had been a dream – and told Nikki that Ashley was out with Jack. Mary Jane made an enemy collage of Sharon, Phyllis and Victor then invited Jack to her room, who was spotted by a confused Nikki. After Jack slept with Mary Jane, he later told Nikki he hadn’t been with Ashley, and Nikki went to Adam and demanded to see Ashley. When Adam’s doctor friend arrived, Adam blackmailed him into assuring Ashley that her baby was fine, when in fact she’d had a miscarriage!

Outside the ranch, while spying on Phyllis and Jack, and after throwing a dead bird through the window, JT grabbed Mary Jane, who claimed to be looking at the property’s architecture! Later, after Paul confronted Mary Jane with her lack of identity, she had him issued a restraining order then promised her ‘stuffed cat’ that she wouldn’t kill anymore birds! Sharon said a final goodbye to Jack, who went back to Mary Jane for sex, while Nick went to Phyllis with talk of divorce. Phyllis broke the news to Summer, as Sharon and Nick did to Noah, who planned to file for emancipation, then Mary Jane sabotaged a scheduled photo shoot for Restless Style – and later convinced Phyllis to allow her to babysit Summer!

Rachel Kimsey (ex-Mac The Young and the Restless) will be coming to Salem as Meredith, a woman with a connection to Rafe. Look for her on July 17.

Nick Stabile will be joining the cast this month. Nick used to play Mark Wolper on “Sunset Beach” and briefly played Fox Crane on Passions. Expect to see him on June 25.

This week, after Nina learns Violet Montgomery was not in CG when Cane was born, Nina realizes Cane’s certainly not who he claims to be. Just who is he and why is he trying to be a part of the family? Nina’s set to find out, when she has Phillip III’s body exhumed from his resting place. Course, don’t you need a body to do tests with? Nina faints when she finds out that the exhumation came up with an empty casket. Soapland for you! Very DOOLish. Ghoulish, even!

When Victor catches Adam playing a recording of Sabrina’s voice, he demands his son leave the door unlocked from now on. What good will that do? Does Victor know more than we’re giving him credit for?
