Days of Our Lives star and reality TV show host, Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady), will be seeing her series “The Biggest Loser” turning up in a new form this fall.

The TV series is being reinvented as a video game for Wii™ and Nintendo™ DS. The game, set at The Biggest Loser ranch, pits players against former contestants as they battle to burn calories. She may have only just left the cast of Days, but it looks like Rachel Melvin (Chelsea Brady) is having no trouble finding work.

The Emmy nominated young actress has already picked up a recurring role on the hit series, “Heroes.” She will be playing a character named Annie and it’s rumored that she may be a love interest for fellow former soap star Hayden Panettiere (Claire). Lori Wilson of our sister site, Soaps.com, recently had the opportunity to chat with former As the World Turns, now General Hospital star, Martha Byrne. They talked about her recent projects and how she juggles her time acting, writing and being a mom.

Here’s a taste of what Martha had to say about her character on GH:

Soaps.com: What can you tell us about Andrea Floyd?

Martha: She’s married to the Mayor. She is one of those women, we don’t know much about her because apparently the character of the Mayor had been around for a while, but we’ve never really seen his family so this is the first glimpse into what his personal life is like and it doesn’t look pretty at this point. I think they have a very cold relationship and it’s nice for the press. It’s kind of really all for the press at this point and the scandal that comes out of the Mayor’s behavior kind of catapults Andrea into the spotlight, which I don’t necessarily think she minds, but she’ll play that role to keep her husband’s career on track. Some of the storylines we’re watching lately are plot driven such as this storyline with Daniel and the art smuggling ring, which doesn’t exactly pull us in. The character driven storylines such as the Shick vs Phick storyline and Adam’s gas lighting of Ashley are more than making up for the character driven plots. This week we’ll see more of both.

In the Ashley/Adam saga, Ashley has a bad dream about seeing Sabrina in a veil. Adam learns this and tries to re-enact it, causing Ashley to fall down the stairs. Timing is off for Adam when Nikki arrives. Ashley starts bleeding and Adam covers for Ashley, with Nikki and puts her back to bed and cleans her up. He then convinces poor Ashley that her fall was all a dream…

Nick tells Phyllis he’s leaving her for his ex-wife, Sharon. He soon tells Sharon about this and they rush right up to her room to make it official by having sex.
