Soap Opera Fan Blog regrets to report that CBS executive, Anne Roberts has passed away at the age of eighty-six. Though she was behind the scenes at the network, which she worked at until this past January, having been hired in 1945 - and having put more years in than any other employee, Anne negotiated contracts for not only The Young and the Restless but for television classics such as “All In The Family,” “I Love Lucy,” and “Gunsmoke.”

Soap Opera Fan Blog wants to send our condolences to Anne’s family, friends and colleagues.
