Though rumors have been speculating that former Guiding Light actor John Driscoll (ex-Coop) would be filling the role of Phillip Chancellor IV, The Young and the Restless has just confirmed it! Look for him to debut on July 16!

Last month, Soap Opera Fan Blog brought you news that former Guiding Light actor John Driscoll (ex-Coop Bradshaw) would be coming to The Young and the Restless and many fans have been wondering when – and as who. We want to keep our readers updated, so here is what we know…
Though it was rumored that he would be playing Nina’s (Tricia Cast) son, Phillip, the show has confirmed his casting but still isn’t commenting on what character he’ll play or when he’ll appear.

John is playing Philip Chancellor the 4th, Nina’s son, he will be in a romance with a very unexpected person this summer!
