Dominic continues down the winding road of mobdom as he attempts to earn the trust of Jason. While Stone Cold is still unsure, Claudia is even jumpier than usual. She’s nearly ready to jump out of her skin as the time for her amnio approaches. Her brother worries about what Sonny will do if he’s not the father of the baby baby. He may not just be worried about his sister either. Sonny tells Johnny that Olivia wants to be with him now and he doesn’t seem to think there is anything to get in their way. Unfortunately for Sonny, Olivia shows up and tells John that he couldn’t be more wrong. She insists that she’ll never be with Sonny. When the mob boss leaves rejected, he returns to his wife. He and Claudia share a rare warm moment while she is getting her ultrasound and they come closer to knowing what they need to know.
Maxie gets a shock of her own when Spinelli pops the question to his fair Maximista. While she worries about how to answer his heartfelt proposal, Jason tells the Jackal to try taking things a little slower. Maxie has other things to think over as well. Kate gives her a major surprise when she stops threatening to fire her and actually gives her a promotion instead. With all of this new work and responsibility, Maxie is relieved that she hasn’t accept Spinelli’s proposal. But will she be able to let him down gently, or will his next move make that impossible? Max and Diane dish out some advice to the young detective about his next step and he launches a very public declaration when he takes over the public address system at the Metro Court.
In the far less romantic department, Ethan continues pressuring Rebecca to give him his pay out before she vanishes from his life and into Nikolas’ fantasy world. Increasingly desperate, he heads over to the Quartermaines to pay Edward a visit. Whatever he says, it seems to work. Edward agrees to give Rebecca the loan she asks for on the condition that she move in with the family. She can’t back out on the offer and is forced to leave Wyndemere behind, leaving enough room for Ethan to sneak in to pay the prince a visit behind her back.
Meanwhile, Michael has a bad feeling about Kristina’s new boyfriend Kiefer, who continues to harass him. Will he push him too far? Robin is sure that that is what happened to someone else in town. She’s more convinced than ever that Andre Floyd is responsible for Brianna’s murder.
