General Hospital Spoilers For July 22-23.

Accidents, angst and accusations.

Claudia may have finally found a way to prove that she really does belong in Sonny’s life. He feels so bad about the way he treated the mother of his latest heir that he sticks by her side at the hospital. Robin and Patrick tell them that Claudia’s suffering from a brain injury. Although this could be treated with medication, it would likely result in a miscarriage. As she ponders her next move, Michael confesses to his sister that he thinks he caused Claudia’s accident.

If Claudia’s luck wasn’t bad enough already, super surgeon Patrick Drake injures his finger catching Robin when she nearly falls down the hospital’s deadly staircase. Claudia chooses to undergo an already dangerous surgery rather than risk losing the baby and the risk is now doubled as Matt Hunter is assigned to take over his brother’s case. No doubt adding to Dr. Hunter’s shoddy self-confidence, Johnny threatens to kill him if anything happens to Claudia during the surgery. Not to be outdone, Carly collapses as soon as she arrives at home. After she’s rushed to the hospital, Kelly has some bad news for her and Jax.

Alexis turns to Sam about her problems and confesses that she probably just made them worse by going to the mayor’s house and getting in a fight with his wife in front of some security cameras. She asks her if she and Spinelli can look for a way to erase the evidence. Things are about to get worse though since Andrea comes back for more and accuses Alexis of causing Claudia’s accident. Kristina soon overhears Diane asking Alexis if there’s actually any way she could have caused it.

Dominic and Olivia are startled when Jason comes knocking on her door. Sonny’s sent him over to do his dirty work – apologizing. She has other things to worry about when her son starts accusing her of being involved with Sonny. Adding to the familial fire, Olivia later catches her son with Sonny at the hospital. Meanwhile, Michael, the son Sonny knows about, is certain that he must have caused Claudia’s brain damaging accident. His sister tries to convince him that it was someone else, but her arguments aren’t good enough. Seeking to make amends, he heads to the police station to confess. Jason arrives in the middle of the confession, but will he be able to stop it from going any further?
