General Hospital Spoilers for July 6-10.

Suspicions, surprises and reprisals.

Lately, things are getting more complicated than the players in Port Charles even know. Sensing his family is still in danger, Sonny has a job ready for Jason and Johnny. Unfortunately for Sonny, his newest enemy is actually far more closely tied to him than he suspects. While he has no idea, Johnny gets the wrong idea and misinterprets some of Olivia’s behavior as a sign that she still has a thing for Sonny. What she has for Sonny though, is not what either man was anticipating.

The other women Sonny’s involved with add to his general bewilderment. Carly has another of her mood swings and quickly makes an unexpected move. That doesn’t stop her from negotiating another deal with Sonny about Michael. All of their finagling, and that of a few other people in town, causes Claudia’s troubles to build.

While the murder investigation continues, it looks as though Alexis is being set up to take the fall. Even her own daughter, Kristina, is starting to suspect the worst of her. The rebellious teen isn’t the only one either. Patrick’s suspicions of Alexis are also continuing to blossom. With everyone doubting the DA, it’s no wonder that she begins suffering the consequences of her one night stand with the mayor.

Alexis isn’t the only person in town who people are suspicious of either. For months, half the town has been suspicious of Rebecca. Now, her own co-con artist, Ethan, is getting in on the paranoia. He becomes more jealous of her relationship with Nikolas by the day. As he makes increased demands on her, their grift continues to come close to falling apart. Soon, he’ll be so frustrated, he may end up exposing her deliberately. Meanwhile, although Spinelli is fighting to prove that romance is not dead, even he has to admit that things are starting to look wounded.
