General Hospital Weekly Summary for July 13-17.

The many faces of love and lust were on display this week in Port Charles.

Antony called Jason into the prison to tell him that he has nothing to do with the uprising among his men. Jason wasn’t sure if he should believe him or not, but Antony was clearly lying. Meanwhile, Dominic walked straight into Sonny’s house and asked for a job. He offered to do whatever it takes to earn his trust. Sonny told him to find a traitor and bring him forward. Dominic happily went on his way. He returned and made a pass at Claudia, asking her to team up with him in more ways than one. She turned him down. He went to his contact and asked for a Zacharra to sacrifice. Although he wasn’t offered one, he came up with a name on his own and gave it to Sonny. They toasted to their new relationship.

Johnny suggested that Olivia might still be burning a candle for Sonny. She tried to fob him off but, soon after he left, Sonny showed up and planted a kiss on her. She kissed him back but then backed him off. He was sure that she still wants him but she forced him to leave and called her son over, telling him that he should get out of town quick. The following day, Sonny was bragging to John about his night with Olivia. Claudia gagged in disgust but Olivia showed up and insisted that there was nothing between her and Sonny and Johnny is still the one she wants.

Spinelli was a nervous wreck as he tried to avoid taking to the karaoke stage at Jake’s. Maxi, Lulu and Rebecca went up to continue the momentum that Robin and Patrick had started. Spinelli finally went up and, with Maxie gazing in his eyes, managed to find his voice as he belted out a tune. They then ran home and made love all night while Sam and Jason tried to ignore the sounds coming from his room. In the morning, after another round of love making, Spinelli popped the question. Maxie declared that she was late for work and ran off. At Crimson, Kate confronted her for changing the layout of the newest issue but relented when she saw the results. In fact, she promoted Maxie to Junior Editor. Maxie was thrilled and wondered if this meant she will have time to marry Spinelli after all. Meanwhile, the Jackal worried that he’d jumped the gun so he enlisted Max and Diane to give him so romantic advice. After much discussion, he hijacked the metro court’s PA system and read a poem to Maxie in code. While he enlisted Jason to help him prepare things, she misinterpreted his poem and ran off to Wyndemere looking for him. This seriously confuses Nikolas, but she figures out where the Jackal must really be and meets him on the roof.

Ethan continued to threaten Rebecca, demanding 10,000 dollars right away. Although she kept insisting she didn’t have it, he wouldn’t believe her. He went straight over to the Quartermaines and had a chat with Edward himself. When she showed up later to ask a favor, Edward agreed to give her the cash on the condition that she move in with the family. She was reluctant to accept, but felt she had little choice. This was doubly so when she turned up at Nikolas’ and found Ethan there, trying to talk the prince into paying off Rebecca’s supposed debts. After they chased him off, she explained that she would be leaving Wyndemere. She argued that she owed the Quartermaines and they need to step back a bit. The prince isn’t sure their relationship can survive if he can’t spend every night with her.

Michael and his sister went to the country club. She brought along her boyfriend, Keifer, who continued his habit of calling the young Corinthos ‘coma boy’. This soon proved to be too much for him and he lost his temper, lashing out at Keifer. After he punched him out, the president of the club stepped in. Keifer put all the blame of Michael and Kristina backed him up, much to her brother’s disappointment. When she left with Keifer, he came on to her. She pushed him away and he slapped her.
