General Hospital Weekly Summary for July 6-10.
Spinelli looks for a solution, Dominic makes a crazy move and Rebecca moves into Wyndemere.
Michael got caught driving with Morgan. His mother decided to employ reverse psychology and actually ran off to get him a driver’s permit while Sonny berated his son and Edward groused. Carly popped up with the permit. Sonny assumed she was doing this to stick it to him for buying Michael a car. Michael didn’t care either way.
Dominic tracked down Kristina and tried to talk her into smuggling him into Sonny’s house. She might think he’s cute but not enough to help him. Meanwhile, her mother was still getting grief from the press. Robin and Patrick buzzed about the idea that Andrea Floyd actually offed the mayor to her. All the while, Andrea listened nearby before rushing off to break into Alexis’ house and plant emails on her computer which make it look like Alexis was stalking the mayor. Kristina stumbled across them soon after and tried interrogating her mother with minimal results. Andrea then called Alexis out in public and made a scene with her right before the watching eyes of Patrick and Robin. By the next day, the emails were circulating the blogosphere and the newspapers. The scandal expanded quickly and Scorpio was forced to inform Alexis that she was voted out as the D.A.
Spinelli’s singing in the shower scared Maxie and Jason. Stone Cold ran off to shoot people while Maxie tried to talk Spinelli out of singing at karaoke. He remained adamant that this was the only way to prove how much he cares. Since he couldn’t shake the certainty, and Maxie’s admission, that his singing sucks, he took a little advice from Patrick and got his hands on a voice altering microphone to make him sound pitch perfect. When he arrived at Jake’s with the device, he accidentally dropped into into a pitcher of beer.
Johnny and Jason went out to the woods to take out the last of the rebelling Zaccharas. After shooting a few of Dominic’s cohorts, Jason was arrested. In a bid to curb the onslaught of bad press, Diane tried to convince him to stay in jail for a few days to make it look like Alexis is still tough on crime. Jason wasn’t sold on the idea. As soon as he was released, he headed over to prison after getting a call from Anthony Zacchara. Meanwhile, Dominic slid around Port Charles and onto Olivia’s doorstep, surprising her from behind. It was revealed that he is her son, Dante. They caught up a bit and he did his best to hide what he’s been up to. As soon as he left, Johnny arrived to spend the evening with her. While they were getting intimate, Dominic/Dante bumped into Claudia on the pier and told her that he was looking for a way into the Corinthos organization, even if he has to walk straight into Sonny’s house… and that’s exactly what he did. Luckily for him, Carly was there berating her ex-husband at the time. She identified him as the man who nearly killed him, but Dante argued that Sonny actually owes him for not killing her and should give him a job.
Nikolas convinced Rebecca to make the move to Wyndemere. The whirlwind romance continued to seriously agitate her grifting partner, Ethan. While he prodded her for cash, she pushed him away and seemed to be happy to give in to the prince’s fairy tale fantasy. She did it on her terms though and dragged him over to karaoke night at Jake’s where they bumped into Ethan, Lulu and Lucky.
